It fits on a bedside or coffee table, doesnt take up too much space. Noise is not too bad but can get noticeable at highest setting. Packs quite some power, I keep it at 1 or 2 max.

The Vornado really pushes the air around my bedroom. Though not silent, the gentle white noise it generates masks other sounds at night, resulting in better sleep. Yes, it costs more, but I believe that it's worth the price difference. It really moves the air around.
