The Vornado fan is small in size but it will blow a lot of air. It was not hard to put together.

I originally bought this to help bring cool air from outside the house window into the house, but from the floor to the Window the fan is just short of what I'd want. So I have to prop it up on a little stool for my needs. That doesn't constitute a loss of star in my book, since this was an error on my part. I should have read the description more. However, the vague description of "Save and Quiet Design" on the product page is kind of a lie and a truth at the same time. It says it's constructed "safe and silent". Vornado and I have different views on this. On LOW it's not 'quiet' per se, I mean it is but it's not. It's very noticeable even on low. Perhaps it's just the size of the fan, but I think they could have added 5 speeds to truly make it silent: silent, medium silent, high silent (aka Low), then Medium and High. Yes I know then it'll move less air, but if I wanted actual silence with air movement, I think that would be fine. For the regular MEDIUM and HIGH, it's loud in my opinion, like not even close to being quiet. So for that, I'm knocking a star off along with the "Telescopic" height adjustment that only moves up and down 5 inches again, my mistake for not doing my due diligence.

I was looking for a fan that could circulate the air around my apartment and the Vornado doesn't disappoint.. 3 speed high power powerhouse I love the air it puts off even at its lowest speed.

This fan moves a large volomn of air and is quiet enough to operate in the bedroom at night.

Blows a consistent stream and cold large runs easily. It stands shorter than expected, but I haven’t found myself wishing it were 5’ tall. I may get a second one.

Quiet and moves a lot of air. This fan moves air so it feels like air is coming from all directions. The fan is quite so you don’t have to have the tv up loud to hear over it!

We have other floor fans that are much louder and provide way less air flow. This little guy packs a punch, and is fairly quiet! Great purchase.

Fan blows very nice.. much better than any other brand I’ve tried. However the top cannot really be taken apart to clean out dust inside which is really annoying.

Purchased this for our house and have to say the set up was easy and the unit is powerful enough to cool off a couple of rooms. I've owned Vornado products for years and stand by their items. It's more than conventional stand fans, but you get what you pay for. I was able to pick this up on sale. The stand is great and the variable speed controls, adjustable head and sturdy base make this a great buy. I would pick it up again.

VERY GOOD FAN, BLOWS VERY HARD ON HIGH. NOT SUPER QUIET THOUGH. I LIKE NOISY FANS TO SLEEP WITH IS WHY I BOUGHT IT. ONLY THING I WISH IT WAS TALLER, IT'S VERY SHORT.

I HAVE MORE THAN ONE OF THESE FANS AND I MUST SAY THEY TRULY BLOW OUT COLD AIR. I LOVE THIS BRAND. RECOMMENDED TO MY SISTER AND SHE ALREADY BOUGHT 4 OF THEM FOR HER HOME IN BARBADOS.

This is now my bedroom fan. Strong flow but if the bed was any higher I would need to put it on a phone book.

good power fan, stands up tall (adjustable) and has a strong blow. this is on when my ac is off.. a must have!
