This is a great fan for those who want air on them while they sleep but needs it to also be quiet, even on the highest setting. The air blows very well. I also get asked where did I get this fan from. Perfect for bedroom or small living room.

This is a really good fan. It’s stylish, tall, the air flow is great and it’s really quiet. Comes with a nice remote and keeps my room nice and cool. Well worth the price.

Amazing product, the guy who wrote the other review had one bad experience, out of bad luck. The product came in and my room was always hot, (have a lot of technology running like tv, ps4, on) and when i used this fan it immediately cooled down my whole room. not only in one area but in all areas of the room. I’ve had problems with tower fans in the past, but this one runs great and isn’t too loud. I don’t really use the remote, so I can’t speak to that, but it’s quickly become my favorite fan in the house.

This fan has great air flow. The buttons are super sensitive though and the fan speed lowers when I use the rewind button on the remote. But it’s tolerable because it gives out a good amount of air

Poor construction again, I mean are you kidding me?!? Its like they only care about aesthetics, honestly its the only reason I gave this 2 starts instead of 1. This fan motor started to make fluttering noises within 15 seconds of being turned on. Also, it doesn't matter how tight the bottom screws are, the fan will wobble worse than a toddler taking their first steps. This will be the last Vornado fan I ever buy, they're all constructed like cheap chinese trinkets. My 6 year old Dyson runs circles around this thing. The only reason I bought it is because of a coupon lol.

Replaced multiple times and always the same issue where the fan bearing goes bad and its constantly squeaking. Its not great at cooling either.

I went into BB looking for the 173 Vornado tower fan which they didnt have. They had the 153 which turned out to be too short for my needs, so I proceeded to check the manufacturing date at the bottom of the box and this one said 2017 vs the 153 2014 so I went with the newer model. Needless to say, it will be going back to best buy tomorrow as when left on the 2 highest levels, it makes a piercing screech noise. I’m talking tea kettle esque. Not what I was going for. Hence why it’ll be going back asap. Maybe it’s just a defect on the one I bought but I didn’t buy a new fan to have to take it apart and fix it immediately. Not gunna take the chance of trying another. After this may actually spend the 399 on that dyson bladeless. My advice to all based on my experience would be to steer clear of this one.

It only worked for 20 minutes, and while it worked it was useless, barely circulating any air! returning today and getting another brand.
