However, there are three settings - low heat, high heat, and fan only. On the high heat and fan only settings, the fan is quite loud. I would not recommend using this in a bedroom setting unless you can fall asleep to loud background noise.

It really puts out a lot of heat, and I didn't notice my electric bill going up much. It got us thru the last few cold days of winter!

Really dig the display and the overall look of this thing. Plus it really warms up the room. Highly recommend it.
