    Does a good job at raising garage temperature in Chicago winter. Greay for spot heating.

    I picked up the Vornado Velocity HD heater with high hopes, but overall I was a bit disappointed in the heat output, it never felt hot the way I expected, even on the highest setting. It does warm up a very small area (like a bathroom) if you let it run for a bit, but it’s not going to blast heat in a larger room the way some people hope. A few other owners report similar struggles with heat intensity and usefulness outside of tiny spaces. On the bright side, build quality is excellent, which is consistent with what you’d expect from Vornado products. The construction feels solid and rugged, and the heater has practical features like tip-over and overheat protection that give some peace of mind during use.
