Had purchased a month earlier the smaller version Vornado with 375/750 watts. No kids but cat soon learned trying to cuddle up to the heat, too close and it shuts off. The front grille is cool to the touch so neither she or I get burned. I bought this larger one for my living room. 750/1125 and 1500Watts. In between I was gifted a ceramic heater. Both Vornados win hands down. Best portable heater fans ever! The circulating or recycling of room air very comfy. Going into my first full winter in my new place and trying to use my apts heat exchanger only in the afternoon to throw hear onto my wall insulation. Monster winter electric bills when I moved in last year. This year my bills are lower. I have options to use varied wattages. I only heat the rooms I am using. Especially at night when the temps start dropping down to 30-40degrees the monster heat exchanger seems useless. I also like it the heaters by my bed or living room and the switch to turn on or off is right next to me. My hearing bill seems to be dropping a bit. Still high but last year, I was very frugal and watchful yet always cold These heaters I am warmer and more comfy and my energy bill seems to have dropped significantly.

I got two of these for my kids room to supplement the heat. They have nice safety options like the fall over turn off and cool to the touch. They keep good constant temperature

This works well to heat our extra room. Wish it had more setting options, but works well.

The heater really does heat up large rooms in about an hour. It does not run hot but is a mild heat so not to cause a fire. No cold spots but a nice warmth.

The heater is used in an area where our dogs have a doggy door. It keeps that area warm, which keeps cold air from entering the rest of the house. Great purchase.

I bought this to warm up my room for those cold cold nights. Keeps my room very warm and I haven't even had to turn it up to its highest setting.

I prefer using the Vornado Vortex Electric heater over the apartment's heating unit. The only sound the Vornado makes is a soft click when it turns on. The thermostat seems to have a 3 degree cycling on and off range, which I find very comfortable. It doesn't get hot to touch and very safe to move around. It is perfect for my apartment.

The unit heats well and fast, even at low setting, and is ultra quiet. No complaints. It replaced a Black & Decker space heater that was noisy from the get-go.

This heater heats up the room immediately. I will definitely recommend this product.

For a small space heater this one works well. I needed something that didn't draw to much power to help warm up a small bathroom and it does a pretty good job.

Heats up my bedroom quickly and quietly. I like the auto shutoff feature as well keeping the room comfortable without running continuously.

This heater is used in our bedroom, which is a nice-sized room. It is super quiet, but within minutes you notice the room getting warmer. Really takes the edge off on those extra cold nights. We keep the rest of the house at about 69 degrees, so it is nice to have a room heater to only heat the bedroom.

Heats my room perfectly. My room actually ended up too hot and had to turn it down. Very powerful despite being small!

The heater is smaller than it appears in the pictures but it puts out a lot of heat for its size and circulates the air well. I like all the safety features to prevent fires.

It gets the job done, great analog unit good for normal size rooms.

Good for a medium to smaller size room, so perfect for my bedroom.
