I like these phones, but they don't stop SPAM RISK identified calls from ringing through.

Everything so far is just great. The special features I like very much.

My less than high rating is because of the very limited information provided on the various key choices and what they control. The devices operate satisfactorily but making use of the full capabilities of the system is not straightforward. The system is not clearly user friendly.

I bought these for the robocall blocking feature but ended up sending this back after using 2 days. Nobody could hear me on the base speakerphone. And the audio wasn't nearly as good as my 7 year old Panasonic phone. I do recall buying VTech to save money years ago and thought I made a mistake then too. These also feel cheaply made. The robocall sounds like it's better on these than the Panasonic, but these are really disappointing.

Needs better Manuel. No info about setting up ans.

Great functions, but the phone is not intuitive to use.

Perfect set up for someone who does not use nor want a cell phone.

No visable signal for new messages. Otherwise it works OK.

After many years without a phone line, decided to give this purchase a try, didn’t disappoint me

The phones are really high tech. A little too much. I don't like in order to block spam calls every person you know you have to have their number saved or they get blocked too! The phone does alot though if you like that sort of thing

Nothing intuitive about how the phone works, such as erasing messages, setting up intercom , etc It seemed like a good deal for the price. Not for me.

This phone can do alot it helps with unwanted caller

Answering machine plays greeting outloud when screening calls. Don't need to hear greeting, I know whatvit says... So annoying

VTECH IS8151-5, Not recommended. I bought this set of phones because it has the ability to expand to over 6 units. I wanted eight. The problem is, after buying them, I can't hear half of the conversations when I receive calls from. The speakers just aren't that good. The other negative item is about the so called intercom system which can be used around the house. My old AT&T system worked much easier. Just push the intercom button "INT" and the number of the unit you want to reach, (Say number 3), and talk, simple. This phone system is much more complicated. Also I had one experience where I walked about ten feet in a room and the phone went dead. Said no signal. I would return this whole system, however, I already ordered and paid for an additional 3 units from VTech directly, since Best Buy didn't carry them. So if I return the 5 unit set, I'm stuck with 3 I Can't use. Therefore I would not recommend this phone system.

The phone set installed easily and is working perfectly. The answering feature has made difference in our lives.

I am disappointed with this set, which received the highest rating from The Wirecutter. While calls made through a handset are fine, the speaker feature, which we use frequently, is terrible - so much so that we have to hang up and repeat the call on our cell phones. One last detail, which seems small but in fact is a problem: a new message light flashes on a tiny triangle that points to directions on a circular dial. It doesn't flash very brightly and is so small that the flash shows only in a very dark room. Annoying and poor design, but not a total dealbreaker.

A great product! I like all the features simply because they perform the functions as they should.

I’m getting used to all the functions of these new phones. I do like the phones very much.
