Power surge fried last landline phone. This phone set replaced it with up to date / current technology. Additionally, the set of two phones provides coverage on two floors or distant rooms on same floor. Big plus! Very pleased with product. Very very pleased with in store customer support. Thanks!

I had the same brand for about 15 years and they finally started to look a little beat up so I bought this new model and it's more modern, newer features, farther range, etc. All good and maybe will last as long as the original.

We have put these cordless phones in the rooms where we usually spend some time (office, media room, bedroom, etc). It is always so convenient to have them handy without having to go in another room to answer the phone. They also have caller id, so we can see if it's a call we need to answer (family and friends as opposed to spam and robo calls). We still use a landline as our cells don't work in our home very well because of our radiant barrier. These phones are extremely easy to add a handset. It comes with the main handset and one add-on. We have expanded to three. They all come in a base that keeps the phone charged.
