Pretty phone but cheaply made

When I got it, I thought it was so pretty. However the handsets were very cheaply made and wouldn't register some buttons when pushed. Very hollow feeling. Then I tried to record the voice message. It didn't have a simple record on base. So I tried to record a greeting and the handset would NOT register me pushing the number key needed. Then went to other phone to try and it recorded all scratchy with white noise. Too bad because it was pretty. If it was better made I would have kept it, but it got returned defective.
