Conveniently 30 days after warranty expiration. I was informed by the V tech help line that the these units were not made to last longer than the warranty period. Or just slightly longer than the warranty. So if you really want to waste your money, V tech phones are the product for you.

Had phone company come out thinking it was my landline and was told it was my phone. I can't even get my money back because its not returnable according to Best Buy.

The screen indicates that I have a message when the recording says that there is no new message. The link between the home hand held phone and the mobile phone does not work. I do not want this phone. It does not give me the performance that I was led to expect

Posted .Cinna - Perhaps the screen indicates NEW VOICEMAIL, which is a service of your provider, and not the same as recorded messages on the DS6771-3 answering system. Incompatible with Magic Jack

While I got it to work with magic jack, there was so much static that I went back to the old ClearSound phone. Of course by that time I could not take the phone back to BestBuy.

I did connect to the home phone but I cannot move the cell because it just disconnect the bluetooth function. So, I just returned it.
