Screen works really well even in the dark and the audio is also very good given that the camera is close enough. Was using this to help monitor my mother who was ill and could not yell for help to use the facilities in the night. It also can be used with a smart phone app which allowed multiple people to receive the signal.

Poor Connection Reliability

Sometimes it would freeze and not show what was actually happening in front of the monitor. How strange to walk out of the room and still see yourself setting the baby down in the crib through the monitor!!

DO NOT BUY

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monitor disconnects from camera ALL DAY LONG and sometimes you can’t connect it back unless you restart the connection process with the camera and you can’t do that if the babies are in there sleeping cause you’ll wake them. It’s not our wifi because we stream stuff on tv all day and everything else works fine except for the monitor. It disconnects the most during night time when I need it most and everything else is turned off. That’s when it should have the best connection and it doesn’t. Oh and the return period is only 2 weeks which we passed so we’re stuck with this garbage
