The pencil on paper texture feel they try to reproduce is a novel idea in theory, but it lends to the tip of the nib wearing down... like really fast. The pen includes three extra nibs, stored in the back end section, but they don't last long. I went through one nib in 18 hours of drawing. Of course, it varies depending on how hard you press down on the tablet so keep that in mind. Also, the tablet seems to need to be recalibrated every so often to keep the pen in sync. Otherwise, you end up with your pen being about half an inch off. Overall, I would recommend getting something that doesn't try to give the rough feel of pencil on paper, unless you specifically want that. If that's your thing, this is definitely for you.

I had difficulty using it as a remote teaching tool. I had hoped to use it as a 'white board' for my class instruction but found that I was not able to make it work for me. I also tried using it with GIMP and some other programs and I think my main problem is the lack of tactile feedback during use. The buttons are easily accidentally activated for me.
