Probably one of Joaquin's better movies. Fairly decent story of Johnny Cash's life.

If you like his music you will like the movie. It had a slow start but good movie.

I bought this movie because It said it came with the digital copy. Turns out it has an expiration date and I was unable to download the movie. Very disappointed

I didn't like it and it was just a sad movie. If you like sad movies...well this is one of them.

this is by far one of the best movies i think i have ever seen. it actually took me a few times of seening pieces here and there to actually get interested in it, but once i watched the whole thing thru i was AMAZED. the only thing is when johnny gets better i wish they would have done a little bit of the story of how he did it, did he go to AA did he do out patient treatment, that would have been interesting for me to see. but overall acting was great and moving was great! p.s. Reese and Joaquin actually do all the singing in the move and they are amazing at it!

Walk the line shows the turbulent and ultimately triumphant story of a key figure of our musical history, Johnny Cash. Through this movie, and Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal of him, and Phoenix's remarkable Cash-like singing, we gain a much deeper appreciation of Cash. Likewise, Reese Witherspoon captures the very essence of talented faithful June Carter, and, again, her singing is spectacular. This movie inspired me to go out and purchase some Cash albums! I believe that this DVD is essential to the libraries of everyone who loves great music!

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen and I will never regret purchasing it. I was never a "big" Johnny Cash fan but when I saw this movie my opinion of him totally changed! I didn't realize how life was before, and during, his career; it made me grow a different respect for him and her (June) for all they went through to be together. From his fight with drug addiction to his undying love for her.....Awsome movie all together.

Great film about Johnny Cash, the man in black. I waited forever to buy this since I wanted them to release a new blu-ray version with both the theatrical and the extended edition on it...but that blu-ray never was released and doesn't look like it ever will be. The sale price of $5.99 for this was too good to pass up, especially with a $5 off coupon. So, I bought this version with only the theatrical cut, and I don't regret it. Nice audio and visuals. Great music. Great performances.

My Mom and I saw Walk the Line at the movies and I loved Walk the Line . I loved all the songs in Walk the Line. I liked Joaquin as Johnny Cash and I liked Reese as June Carter. Walk the Line is my favorite Joaquin and Reese movie. I have Walk the Line on DVD. I have The Full Screen and Walk the Line Extended Cut on DVD with Joaquin and Reese.

This movie has everything... Great music, impeccable actors, and a heart warming story. You really get an inside look at Johnny Cash, and the love of his life, June Carter; along with a realistic view on his up's and downs in life. Excellent Movie!

Walk the Line is a wonderful tribute to Johnny Cash and his life. I learned what drove this man to sing and that everyone has tragedy which changes how a person lives. I found hope because he found God, forgiveness, love and peace in his life. Great music is intertwined in the movie.

Walk the Line is my favorite Joaquin and Reese movie. I liked all of the songs in Walk the Line. In Walk the Line I liked Johnny, June, Mother Maybelle, June's Dad, Johnny's girls and June's girls. I liked Joaquin and Reese as Johnny and June

Big fan of JP. He did a great job portraying the late great Johnny Cash. The story is amazing and the acting is phenomenal. Anyone in the mood for a really good story needs to watch this.
