I bought this DVD movie knowing that the ratings were not that great, but that the cgi was very good. Nonetheless it was worth watching for the cgi.

Great graphics and story but the speaking of the dinasaura without their mouths moving was a little weird. Would recommend for younger kids.

It was ok, it tried to be educational, but could have done it either more often, or in a different way. And the dialogue was not that great.

Good story, nice animation. It even throughs in some education with the dinosaur names.

We follow the story of Patchi, the pachyrhinosaurus, as he grows up to lead his herd. What we have here is an anti-Pixar film. Whereas that company produces film that can delight both parent and child in equal measure, this is a film that the young and old can revile together. It’s actually kind of awe-inspiring how so many intelligent people can combine their efforts and end up with such a mess. The original BBC TV production was a fascinating documentary series that I enjoyed as much as my young son. The film is a prime example of losing faith in the source material and changing it into something we have seen before in fear that the audience is too simple-minded to appreciate on the big screen what they have already demonstrated their love for on the small screen. This means adding juvenile dialogue, including the vomit jokes that are requisite for any modern family film. The result is absolute garbage. I’m not swayed by the impressive effects. These days, everything including my cousin’s wedding films, has great CGI. When my six-year-old son, who loved Turbo and adores Ultraman, says your film is “stupid,” you know you have utterly failed.

at least it isnt another land before time movie, or a copy of it like disney's dinosaur... but could have been better.

My 3-year old loves watching this movie. For an adult, the voice acting and plot is pretty difficult to sit through.

The 3d in the movie is pretty good and it can be an educational movie about dinosaurs.

Story line was ok, but very slow moving. I found the movie did not keep the attention of my children enough.

If your kids love dinosaurs they will like this movie. As a adult i thought this was very cheesy.

Picture and sound were great but the 3D wasn't very wowing. Still a good family night movie.

My youngest boys enjoyed it. I'm only writing more because Best Buy requires more be typed.
