So happy this came to 4k. Tom cruise is great in the movie. The hdr and dolby is fantastic on this movie

We've watched this movie before but wanted to re-watch it in 4k. Both video and audio are top notch.

Nicely done remake that has a new interesting twist. Special effects are great. Scifi fans will appreciate the attempt to keep to the original and still have an updated story.

Clumsy way to wrap up the ending. Used H.G. Wells ending but threw in cameos and mysterious reappearance of son. Way to abrupt. Visual effects were excellent.

This is one of my favorite book to film adaption. I think they did a fantastic job. No stop form start to finish. Tom Cruis was excellent in this role.

Love love love this movie and the crazy sci fi aspects to it. Always makes a person wonder whst if....

I love sci-fi movies!! War of the Worlds has some really good Special effects and sound and that's about it! Movie starts off pretty good and had me really intrigued. When the lightning strikes and dark clouds began, I was like "stuff's bout to get real!!" but it actually just got stupid. Tom Cruise's kids were annoying as heck and I was hoping the aliens got them. There's aliens attacking and killing everyone in sight and his son is having daddy issues during this and the daughter was asking incredibly stupid and unnecessary questions...such unrealistic behaviors. The aliens were kicking butt throughout the movie, the armed forces tried to fight back but the aliens had force fields surrounding their crafts that couldn't be penatrated. It was a losing situation for humans then all of a sudden the aliens just start dying off because of apparent ALLERGIES from a plant or something...just freaking stupid!! I don't know what everyone else was watching but this WAS NOT a great movie. It was barely worth the $9 I paid. I'd rather use this as coasters for my drinks

Nice to have it in something other than dvd format, but it still is a little staticky even in 4K.

Major upgrade from bluray definetly worth buying super crisp and sound is a major upgrade!
