You guys should ship steelbook movies in a little box with bubble wrap or whatever to protect the steelbook, that way it doesn't get trashed on the way to your customers. Mine was bent and split up the middle. Only a quarter of it was intact still.

Great movie, but don’t have it shipped. The whole point in ordering this was for the steel book. It was packaged in a soft envelope and, by the time it got to me, the steel book was dented.

I did not liked.but others like it for sure.i not recommend it

I am a big fan of this movie but what you are selling here is not a STEELBOOK Best Buy it's a METALPAK. And please stop packinging these in bubble or card board sleeves. They will most likely get damaged like my two last steelbook orders.

Received "The War of the Worlds" [Steelbook] which badly bent. Poorly packaged. Had to return for refund.

Arrived damaged with several dents on case. Had to return it and couldnt get another cooy.

Does not look good 4K. Blu ray version is better and has better functions

Decent movie, the 4K disk didn't work in my 4K drive though.

The son was a jerk. The daughter was the whole center of the movie. Tom Cruise was a pushover.

Not sure if only my disc was bad or if all 4K discs are authored this way. Returning it.

I purchase this thinking it was a steelbook cause thats what it said it wasnt a steelbook plus no digital code

Great film. But it arrived damaged. And it’s not a legitimate Steelbook.

Contary to popular belief I think this is a good movie and worth watching

nobody can make an alien movie like spielberg. the special effects are stunning. the acting is good. the aliens and tripods are brilliant. the action and non-action is gripping. its just great. the special features are excellent. they show you and explain every big sequence in the movie. it tells you about the theatrical score and how john williams came to making this music. and it shows stuff about the original war of thw worlds and why steven spielberg did it this way. the overall movie diserves 4 stars but the second disc gave it a 5. the movie does have some mistakes but if your not looking for them, chances are you wont find them. its also a little short. thats surprising coming from spielberg. its like 5 minutes short of 2 hours. this is the type of movie to be like 2 1/2 hours. tim robbins makes an appearance in this and does great. dakota fanning does good. justin cautwin is a brat but still does pretty good. tom cruise is tom cruise and steven spielberg is the best.

Dark and suspenseful with a mostly forgetful score

I love this film, this is probably one of Spielberg's best works since Jaws. One of the most amazing, incredible things about this film would be the visual effects because this is not like your typical alien invasion film. Another thing was the fact that Spielberg took some ideas and concept from both the novel by Wells and the 50's movie, but this is not a remake because this film is in a class of its own. This is one of my all-time favorites, a must-have for any DVD collector.

This is a great adaptation of the classic movie. While I will agree that the plot starts out a little weak, it did take long for the movie to move in a new direction. The action is fast paced and intense, but Tom Cruise tends to overact. But he gets away with it as it makes him seem a little crazy and desperate. Dakota Fanning does a great job and even provides a little comedy at the beginning. Overall, this is a great movie to watch and keep in your collection.
