This movie starts strong and has some intense scenes. The acting and the story are great, its a classic thrill ride. The movie gets to a slow point and has more of a waiting conflict. This movie is worth seeing at least once.

High budget movie with good special effects and a ok story. It is an enjoyable movie though.

Tom Cruise was good as dead-beat dad and the CGI is pure greatness, but this movie fell flat. They had too much going on and it didn't tie everything together.

This is an all time great movie. Lots of action and suspense .... the BluRay disk however fails miserably. The quality is terrible. There is so much grain that it looks like an old VHS tape. I have the original DVD release and just bought the BluRay, thinking the quality would be better. I was wrong. Save your money and just buy the DVD. They actually look the same. Like I said, the movie is great, the BluRay is BAD.

I bought this Blu Ray thinking that the movie would look sooooo much better that DVD. I was wrong. The quality of this Blu Ray is awful. I had to turn down the brightness setting my HDTV just to be able to see the background, otherwise it looked like the actors were on on the surface of the sun. Don't buy this disc.

I have one word for this movie Stupid. But I have to still talk about it to reach the minimum so. The "aleans" looked so fake. The movie moved slow. There was no plot. I was bord out of my mind. and then they killed off the only good part of the movie the hot brother. It was such a stupid movie.
