Long and not very entertaining. Could use more story.

I'm a huge fan of the Warcraft franchise and I loved this movie as it follows the actual story line very closely. Also the digital copy redeemed through VUDU will allow you to stream it in 4K w/HDR if you have a TV capable of it. I was hoping this would be the case as I don't have a 4K blu-ray player but I do have a 4K TV. I hope this clears up some confusion surrounding what digital copies you get when purchasing 4K blu-rays.

If you are a fan of Warcraft this is a 5 star. If you know nothing about warcraft and enjoy a good action film with special effects (with a confusing story) then this is a 4 star. If you are comparing this to LotR then this is a 2 star movie. You get what you put into this film.

This movie deserves 5 stars but the reason I gave it 4 is because once again the Best Buy website has reverted the changes I asked them to make because the information on this is ONCE AGAIN WRONG!!!!!! You ARE NOT getting a 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+UltraViolet combo pack. It doesn't matter that this says it is a 2-disc combo pack, it STILL says that it is a Blu-Ray 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+UltraViolet. I bought the movie yesterday so I know that the description saying that it is a Blu-Ray 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+DigitalHD UltraViolet is 100% FALSE. It is a 2-disc Blu-Ray 3D+Blu-Ray+Digital Copy+DigitalHD UltraViolet with NO DVD AT ALL!!!!! Fix this description and you will earn that 5th star.

Ignore the critics. Rise above. All blizzard and warcraft fans will appreciate and enjoy the movie. The visuals the amount of detail...and homage to a unforgettable series will not disappoint. Even for non-fans out there, if you love fantasy such as lord of the rings...dungeons and dragons and the ilk its a positive and must see!

A lot of games are turning into movies to try to become successful in that area, this movie might not have done so well, but it's pretty good & worth a watch!

I've never played the Warcraft games but have heard about them from friends. When I watched this movie I was surprised at how well the cg and real life blended. They made the script for fans who knew the game, terminology, and lore. No time was wasted explaining things to the newbies to the Warcraft universe. This made it a surprisingly fantastic film and very enjoyable to watch.

Finally a warcraft movie. It isn't as great as the movies you see in game, but it's a start that I hope they learn from. I would recommend this movie only to people who know about the warcraft series as people who do not have that background knowledge will be lost.

I don't know anything about the Warcraft game but decided to watch it anyway. I was not disappointed, I enjoyed it. Good action scenes and great special effects. My kids play Warcraft and said the storyline is close to the game. They liked the movie too.

I don't play video games so no issues with that. There was a ton of action and great special effects. I found it very VERY entertaining. The story was pretty cool and Travis Fimmel (of Vikings fame) is outstanding as is much of the cast.

If you can only choose one format, go for the 3D. I saw it both ways and the 3D edition brings the imagery to life. The darker 4k version actually obscures some picture information. Never played the games but thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Ok in flat 2D but the 3D really enhances the visuals. I gave it an extra star just for that.

I had no expectations for this movie cause i know nothing of the game and to be honest it left me completely impressed. The visuals are awesome, the performances really surprised me and the action is amazing. In short, watch it.

A lot of fun and a solid start to an extended series (I hope). It is hard to cover the breadth of the Warcraft setting in a single go...this was pretty good attempt. Looking forward to future installments.

Lot of hype on this film especially with the budget to make. It was a decent movie but I thought it would have been better with all of the money they spent. The special effects are pretty cool.

This movie was seriously awesome i love the world of warcraft and archwizards, Mages, dragons, orcs. I am a huge fantasy buff. I just wanted more in the movie i would have loved to watch a 3 hour movie with this content.

Purchased as a stocking stuffer for my son. He liked the movie in the theater so decided to pick it up at the Black Friday sale.

Was funny good, 3D effects were amazing great story telling, but slightly different from original movie, but surprising, and the deleted scenes were funny and great should've been in movie. (in opinion)

The movie was great and I have rewatched it three times and counting. The only issue was that the digital download only shows up on my Apple TV and not on my MacBook Pro...

I love reading the books about the game and the movie is nice seeing my fav characters on the big screen coming to life.

I originally saw this movie in theaters and really enjoyed the movie being a non Warcraft game player. I enjoyed this movie more with the 3D experience.
