good movie fun a lot of special effects. bought because on sale worth it for the price paid.

The color and sound are very good and sometimes exceptional. The action is top notch. But, the real standout is the level of detail. And, the superb graphics which are non-stop through out this movie. I'm not sure that I have seen another movie that combines this level of live action with CGI. Whether you will like this story line, only you can decide. It should be a treat for action lovers and gamers.

Not as bad as advertised, but certainly no classic. WarCraft is at least a very entertaining 2 hours.

Having played the MMO, there are tons of references to the game and in many ways the movie breaths some life to what millions of players have experienced for over a decade. The CGI is good and the modeling was pretty nifty. I think the backgrounds of the characters could have been done with more depth. I get that the movie needed to be cut down to a digestible size but this could have been better

As a World of Warcraft gamer, this has been a long anticipated film. We talked about this since 2008 in game. It was so nice to finally see all the talk come to fruition. I think the movie was well done and there were a lot a familiar elements from the game. Seeing Moroes alive in Karazahn was pretty cool. For those of you who don't know. In the game he is one of the boss fights in the Karazahn dungeon and he is undead. Anyway... I can't wait for the sequel. Goel, AKA Thrall, is one of the best characters and is a lot like his father. You'll see. CHEERS

Right from the game and into movie production, sounds familiar. This was a really good movie, enhanced by the 3D experience. Now that cameras and filming can make it so that 3D is even better, I expect to really get even more into the 3D experience. I do, however, recommend that if you want 3D on your TV, look for "Passive" 3D which is like the movies. The glasses don't need batteries, they're inexpensive (you can use the ones from the theater if you forget to turn them in) and you won't get headaches like the "Active 3D" glasses can give you.

I read the various reviews and was very disappointed especially knowing the previous work by this director (check out Moon) so when the price was just too good to be true by BB i bought the disc to check it out. WOW, great story, spectacle effects, it IS missing a flow and gets caught up in some scenes too long but overall very enjoyable IF YOU ARE INTO FANTASY MOVIES.

Having never played WOW or even knowing much about the universe I went into this completely blind. I'm glad I did! The cgi is absolutely stunning. The 3D effects are marvelous and really immersed me in the world. If you are a fan of Lord Of The Rings or The Hobbit this movie is for you. It leaves it wide open for a sequel which I hope they end up doing because I can't wait to see it!

I am usually skeptical of game-derived movie since the storytelling is often lost when trying to compress the storyline into 2 hours, but Warcraft is extremely well done. Some of the plot seems a little stretched, but I was so engrossed that I had to remind myself that many of the characters were computer-generated. The movie is highly recommended for any gamer familiar with the Warcraft series. It is too bad that a sequel has trouble being made...it was something I was hoping for at the end of the movie.

OK - Let's see... There are (basically) two groups. The Good Guys and the Bad Guys. In the group of Good Guys there are (secretly) some Bad Guys and the group of Bad Guys there are (very secretly) some Good Guys. The leader of the Bad Guys are about to betray some or all of the Bad Guys (shouldn't be surprising - remember: they're BAD... DUH!) and at least one Good Guy isn't what you think he is: The Lesson of this movie is Even though they look like monsters in need of a dentist - don't judge a book by it's cover... Just buy the da(r)n movie!

I am a gamer. So i naturally wanted to see this movie. The movie was receiving bad reviews. I still viewed it to see for myself. And I was impressed in how good the movie is. Some of the reviews complained about the ending. I like the fact that the ending was a cliff hanger type ending. It means they might make another movie. The special effects, acting, and story were all enjoyable. And yes I don't mind the ending. Give it a try and you might like the movie too if you like high-fantasy with magic and strange beasts.

I'm not sure why this movie gets as much dislike as it's been getting. I admittedly have not played the WoW game, but found the movie to be a pretty enjoyable fantasy epic. It made me want to know more about this particular world (no pun intended). It's priced well so it's worth a look. It has a "Lord of the Rings" feel to it and some good special effects.

I heard and read a lot of bad reviews for Warcraft. As a long-time fan of the games, I enjoyed this. There was a lot packed into a short timeframe but it's still fun. I didn't expect top-notch special effects, but they're pretty good. I didn't think all of the acting was amazing but, most of it's good. Simply put, it's a fun, fantasy film. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this on a wim. I don't know anything about the game that it is supposed to be made after but I like this type of movie. I thought the movie was very entertaining. The only thing I wish was that the ending wasn't left so open. I know they did it because they wanted to leave the door open for another movie but it left me with too many questions and just felt unfinished.

I am not a World of Warcraft person, so going into this movie I new nothing about the lore, or characters. What I am is a sci-fi junky though and this movie satisfied all those needs. The special effects were very pleasing, the story was entertaining, the acting was good enough to keep me focused. I would recommend picking this one up and adding it to anyone's collection.

The Movie was only OK but it could have been a lot better but it was not to bad !

I am an Old Man 64 years old and it was an experience to watch a 3D Blue Ray Movies. Its a remarkable experience to see this movie. It's surprising how far movies have come. I can recall watching TV in black and white. We did not grow up watching TV's they were to expensive, I read books and one of the books was the Lord Of The Rings, Seeing this movie in BR was way beyond my imagination, I guess I will see more advancements in my life time, Best Buys is where I go to get any electronics and 100's of BR Movies,

I will be the first to admit, I know nothing about the World of Warcraft. I went in to this movie hoping for an interesting story and good visuals. The story was a little simple but I enjoyed it, and it was interesting. Visually, 5 Stars. This is a must have for 4K people. I genuinely enjoyed the movie experience. I will re-watch this no problem.

Not a great movie by any means, but it was entertaining. It was worth $5.

At first watch if you're not a fan Warcraft or it might be a bit confusing, as it was written for fans of Warcraft. However with the compelling story, the effects, and overall acting, watching it twice to get what is going on will be highly enjoyable. If your a fan of the fantasy genre or a fan of Warcraft this is a good watch that you will enjoy many times.
