This was the first 4k blu-ray movie I watched on my new Samsung 4k SUHD TV and I loved it! The movie and acting is 8/10 for me because I love the Warcraft universe but the visual effects were what really impressed! There is a scene with two Orcs sitting talking and their skin looked amazing! I would recommend this just to see some great images on a 4k TV.

What I expected but I was entertained and it was well worth the $5 paid.

So if you have never played any of the original Warcraft games or World of Warcraft then this movie maybe isn't your thing but I suggest giving it a chance at least. If you have played you will probably enjoy it as I have, even despite the variation from game/canon lore. The cgi/effects are very well done and I look forward to potential future movies.

Did not like the animation. Had hoped to see a different type of action movie.

This movie turned out to be really good and entertaining. It started off a little fast pace but eventually slow down to follow the story line. I can't wait for the rest of the series to come out to see if the rest of the story is a strong finish. Only reason I gave for stars Blu-ray version messes up close to the end and I have to switch to dvd.

If you love Warcraft or WoW series, this movie is awesome! Just seeing your favorite games come to life with amazing CGI and live-action is a special experience in of itself. HOWEVER, it is a movie trying to do too much in too many different directions. Most of the story lines and character developments are not cohesive nor well thought-out.

I will be honest. I read the "critics" reviews and was disappointed with what I heard. I was looking forward to seeing this movie and decided to wait until it was released on blu ray. I got it really cheap but it didn't disappoint! Great story and visuals. They stayed true to all the Warcraft stories. If you like the game this is a must have.

Good story, takes you through most of the iconic scenes, stories, and backgrounds of the warcraft world. This movie is definately not for everyone, I could see people that are not fans getting VERY lost in this pretty in depth story line. One negative, is if you are a WOW gamer, watching this makes you want to resubscribe...

Dont let the video game fanboys scare you away from this movie, they want it to be way to much like the game. If you like movie like Lord of the Rings then this is for you. Its no where near as long but it is quit good. The special effects are great. You know ,ost of it is cgi but you tend to ignore it cause it looks so good.

I am a warcraft fan so I had to buy it... Movie was mediocre, it could have and should have been so much better. Nonetheless the UHD version looks beautiful especially with an HDR tv. The colors/special effects really pop. If you are a warcraft fan go for it, if you are not just rent it or watch it on tv when it comes on FX or something.

I never had a chance to see this movie in the theater so I bought the 3D version to get extra "Wow" (and I do mean wow, not World of WarCraft). I was not disappointed, I've watched both versions and the 3D version is better. Great for those who loved the movie and for those that like the genre but never had a chance to seen the show.

Guess this was supposed to be a gift from my wife. I'll try to act surprised. I'm not sure how you are supposed to review a Blueray anyway. I have seen the movie. It was decent although i was a bit put out with the feminized orcs & cutesy orc baby. I guess my favorite parts were the scenes inside various structures from the game.

Bought this 4K movie for the eye candy. Great action scenes - kept me glued to the TV. Great picture quality. Visual effects were excellent. Played this movie thru an Xbox Slim with HDR, to a 4K HDR TV. Excellent audio - use a sound bar or better. The 4K Ultra HD package comes with a Bluray copy and digital HD download code (which doesn't have a printed expiration date - just a notice to look it up on a web site. Strange). Running time 2 hours 3 minutes.

Not a bad plot line and an entertaining movie. One of the better Video Game to Movie translations IMHO. I'd give the movie itself 3 stars and the video/audio quality 5 stars - so rated it 4 stars overall. Although as I'd prefer to weigh the movie more than the A/V quality, 3.5 stars would be a more accurate assessment.

I used to play the WOW games from blizzard and was excited to hear the movie was coming out. I was expecting to see more from this as it was pretty hyped up. This one seemed to be based in Warcraft origins and Burning Crusade. They still need to make one for the Lich King and Cataclysm.

Did not like the movie that much but the product worked fine.

Wasn't too sure I was going to like this, but overall, it was a decent Warcraft movie...personally, I thought some of the sizes of things (orcs, weapons, armor) were overdone, but given the source material, this was more than acceptable. If you are a fan of Warcraft in any of its forms, you should enjoy this movie.

Visuals were amazing, actors were great, story meh... I see where they are trying to go with it, having been a fan since the very first Warcraft game on pc in the 90's, but I feel they bounced around too much. Hope the next one is a tad better in that regard. Still a fun watch and worth a purchase when on sale.

Anyone who has ever played world of warcraft should just buy it and watch and enjoy , with familiar place like karazan and stormwind . Very good special effects, and for those who have played the games i believe the timeline for this movie is based on original warcraft game called Warcraft Orcs vs Humans . Old dated pc game , i'm sure there books and comics as well but from the research i did they say its based around that games timeline.
