Warcraft is fantastic fantasy with mediocre storytelling. If you are not a fan of the game series, it's easy to get lost as the story unfolds in an untelling manner. However, as a Blu Ray this has plenty of special features that go in depth to the making of the movie. The commentaries, small documentaries, and explanations are all very well done. Super fans may want more, but as far as typical blu rays go, this has great special features

I had my hopes up for this movie and it kind of disappointed

I went in expecting a big budget video game movie and that's what we got. Effects were good, pacing seemed fine, and as expected the plot wasn't too deep. People unfamiliar with the backstory will have questions, but they have to leave holes for a follow up movie right? All in all, we enjoyed the time watching.

Great movie for people familiar with the Warcraft franchise. For the mainstream movie goer, it can be a bit hard to digest, but stick with it through the first 20 minutes, and things begin to settle down. Keep an open mind, know that they tried to pack in many years of game lore into a 2 hour movie, and enjoy!

Wow!!! Didn't think I would enjoy this movie as much as I did. I've never played World of Warcraft but definitely heard of it. This movie does a great job of world creating with fantastic visuals. The characters are not one dimensional and the story is compelling. I actually wish the movie was a bit longer to flesh out more of the backstory even more. Bought this version for the exclusive bonus features. Highly recommended!!!

Warcraft is basted losely on the mmpg game WOW(world of Warcraft). One magical Ork is killing the land leading them on path to new world and clash with the native beings already on the plant. Clurtral clashes and differences are the name of the movie. This movie is just the start. With many more to come.

There is 20+ years of oral and written history to draw from for a story. The writers did a nice job of editing the stories to distill them to a single narrative. Not only is it a reflection of the game mechanics, but is also a moving story in its own right. The special effects are fantastic. The acting is well done. The only complaint is that when it was over, I was left wanting more. And that is what really defines a good story.

I played World of Warcraft for several years, while I did not pay attention to much of the lore, it is very easy to understand what is happening within the game. Having a movie based on what happened before the events of World of Warcraft is just icing on the cake. Love the character portrayals and the graphics are superb. Comes with dolby atmos too for a fully immersive experience. Can't wait for the sequel! Highly Recommended.

I can't say I've played the game, but have watched many play it. The movie was well done, the CGI is amazing. Travis Fimmel played a great character, still has a little Ragnar Lothbrok in him! Paula Patton is great actor, she brings a great presence to the film. Ben Foster is also great, Punisher, 3:10 to Yuma... another fine addition. Hopefully they follow up with a sequel that does the first one justice.

Watching the movie in 4K/HDR is much like seeing it in a theatre, such crisp definition and clarity. The film (much like the game) is more biased toward alliance point of view, but at least orcs aren't the cardboard cutout evil characters like you might see in various Tolkien-inspired fantasy movies.

I'm not a gamer myself and so some of the finer points of the story went over my head but I wouldn't say I was lost. You definitely get the idea but the main attraction here is these visuals. Oh my gosh, this movie will have you believe that orcs are real. Definitely a showstopper in the AV category.

As a huge warcraft fan for years I enjoyed how much detail was in this movie. Visuals are incredible. Some of the acting is a bit lacking for me. 4k looks great. Would recommend to another warcraft fan. Hope they do a sequel with illidan!

I've played WOW and this movie is a good adaptation. Though it doesn't explore the full beauty of the World of Warcraft environments, races, and creatures. It has a good story plot. Though it will have plot holes for people unfamiliar with the game. The movie is still a good movie non the less.

I was worried that this would not live up to the game but was very excited that it turned out to be a great movie. People who know the game will be excited to see places they know and love. People who have never played can still enjoy the movie because the story is easy to follow.

I had no idea that this game based movie had the following that it has , however the action and story line was very good, lots of sequels would be great to add to the amount of fans this type film is a lot of fun. I was not aware of its following, but I can see why there is one.

I got this because it was on sale and looked interesting. Reviews that I read were mixed but often with a book or a game turned into a movie you will have "fans" that can not be pleased. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. The ending leaves you hanging and I suspect there will be a sequal.

I'm easy. Give me good action, convincing special effects, and a few decent twists and I'm a happy movie goer. More than a few plot changes left me sad but palpitating for the sequel. Surprised it didn't make more noise in the box office. Some of the sub par acting is probably to blame.

I have played WoW since the game began and have never stopped. This movie is amazing in the way they brought so much of the game to the big screen. It was as if I was see the same places I have been thru hundreds of times questing or Raiding with my guild. The movie has a good story and all the characters are believable in their roles. The effects are amazing and its a perfect starter movie for a series.

First off let me say that I know nothing of the Warcraft world, so I was able to go into this movie purely for entertainment. My daughter and I both love epic fantasy movies, so we went to see this at the theatre and it was excellent. Fantastic cgi and for the most part really good acting. Was a release day purchase for me.

Overall the movie was fun to watch. It took you into the WarCraft realm. Lots of action and CG (too much at times). Characters sometimes showed difficulty with emotions and reactions to CG characters as they were mainly acting in front of a green screen. Overall, enjoyable to watch
