Not sure what the life expectancy of a coffee maker is but I was hoping it would have lasted longer. No longer makes coffee (neither brew nor programming) after less than 3 years.

not a good coffee maker

It caught on fire and burned one morning. Lucky I was next to the sink and just put it in the sink and waited for it to stop smoking.

Almost burned my house down!

Getting ready to leave for work and my wife says what's that smell? Didn't take long to win that game of hide and seek, the smoke billowing out of the bottom of the coffee maker gave it away. And getting worse by the second. Unplugged it and threw it outside where it continued to smoke for a while. Better coffee makers out there for the money. You know, ones that won't try to kill you.

Already malfunctioned

Started brewing very very slowly and the clean light is flashing. Used only bottled water"no hard tap water" and performed a cleaning cycle and it still is not working correctly.

Buyer beware pretty paper weight

It stopped working 3 weeks after we bought it. I called Waring Pro and they don’t even support this model anymore. I have purchased $10 coffee makers that worked way better than this one. This product is a lemon and I find it funny that an 8 year old discontinued product can be sold for $100.

Power cord short circuited

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019 the power cord began smouldering and we could smell the electric circuitry burning while heating a fresh pot of coffee. Fortunately this happened while we were actively using the appliance. Fire hazard.

Broke in less than a year
