    Great little oven

I bought this on the Deal of the Day back a couple of months ago..it was $54.95...I see it is a little more now...tell you, it's a great deal for the extra 5 bucks..I have toasted with it, baked some potatoes and cooked several roast with it...super job. My wife likes the traditional large oven but she has seen the light and now has used this for several dinners. The outer surface gets hot...so be careful, and the slide it tray take a little positioning to get it in right. The buzzer is not load..so I think the company has changed it. The size is good and you can cook a 5-6 lb roast or ham with plenty of room Overall it is easy to clean..I always clean it right after I use it...the trays are the only things I clean. Overall it is a super oven / convection oven...the onvection phase is really nice to cut down on the cooking time. I would buy another one in a heart beat...I have used this since December 2012...I should mention that when you toast bread or bagels with it it does take a little extra time and be careful how you set the toasting time number...I burnt several items at first...right now I used it on setting 5 or 6...perfect toast!!!?..... BUY THIS.... YOU WILL LOVE IT...FREE SHIPPING...CHEAPER THEN AMAZON RIGHT NOW,

    Toasts great and evenly!

Replaced a well used/aging higher-end Cuisinart with this Waring Pro . Although the Waring Pro has less control options it does toast/cook more evenly , which is a BIG plus . The unit also looks nice and seems to be decently built (by todays standards) . My only complaint maybe that the "toast" setting is "minute(s)" only , no seconds available and toast clock does not count down once activated . Besides that , happy happy happy !

I purchased this oven 2 weeks ago and have made fresh handmade bread rolls, meatloaf, red velvet cake and more. All cooked better than my regular gas oven. I love the convection as my meatloaf only took 50 minutes to bake, and it was a large loaf.I love the brand and the ease of great baking,as I do cook from scratch all the time.Thank you Waring/for a great product.

This is a great toaster/convection oven for when you don't need the full oven to bake something (great in the summer to avoid heating up the house).

Toaster / Convection Oven Great Deal

I purchased the Waring Toaster / Convection Oven through the "Deal of the Day" email I receive on a daily basis. I read the reviews and decided for the price I'd give it a go. Not sure I would've paid full price, but it certainly cooks as expected. I've purchased other similar convection ovens and they all went back. However, after a month of use, this is definitely a keeper! Looking to try the convection option? I'd recommend this item. It's been a super asset to any kitchen!! Cons: convection setting is a little noisy; bigger than I prefer on my counter; toast settings take extra time; pre-heat takes longer than smaller toaster ovens; setting temperature / timer can be a little tricky Pros: convection setting does cook food in about 75% of the regular time; 10" pizza fits great due to the back being rounded to accommodate the pizza; able to cook / bake small items and not heat up the big oven; has all the settings I wanted - convection, bake, toast, bagel, broil and an additional setting pizza

This is a great unit to use. It has a lot of features . You can toast, bake, reheat. This is good for the hot summer months. You don't have to heat up the kitchen by turning in the oven.

We purchased this oven a few months ago and are very happy with its performance. We purchased it on sale for $60.00 from Best Buy and you can not beat the price for this oven. Highly recommended.

    Loud.

I bought this last year for the same price. There were a lot of reviews giving high marks with the exception of some people saying how loud the buzzer was (those reviews have since been removed-maybe because it is a year later or this is considered a technically different model, but it looks exactly the same and has the same name). It goes off when you start it, when toast is done, when the oven setting comes to temperature, and when the timer (if set) goes off. You can not disable the buzzer and it will penetrate multiple levels of a town home with closed doors. That is the bitter part of the bittersweet aspect of it being "commercial." I have learned to take reviewers seemingly knit picky complaints with a grain of salt and assumed they were exaggerating with this, but this is loud. When I have the midnight snack desire for a sandwich with toast or just toast, I butter bread and toast it in a frying pan so I don't wake my daughter and wife. Otherwise it works great 12 months later. Would not buy it again and certainly not at full price.

Cooks well, time setting button is annoying

Our old toaster over crapped out and it was time for a new one. Saw this was on sale for $50 and ordered it onine. Cooks and toasts evenly and does what it needs to do. Its pretty solid looking but the only problem is the big time setting button on the front. It is very sensitive and we bump it often which changes the time. Otherwise a nice purchase.

I rounded up because it is closer to a 5 han a 4. Have had it for about a year now and live it. Only deduction is for the slightly obnoxious bell ding when it is starting and ending a cook cycle. If that doesn't bother you it is a great value.

This is a great toaster oven.

I have used a hang under the counter toaster oven for years. This oven beats that one hands down. There is a bump out at the back of the oven to fit a Pizza in, works terrific! I have cooked so much more in it since getting this one because it is so much more convenient than the big oven. I am not sure the convection part works that much better than a regular toaster oven. The only drawback I see is that it has to sit on the counter. I like my counters clear but it too much of a hassle to get it out every time you use it so it sits on my counter.

We use our toaster A LOT, we have a small apartment & use the toaster oven more than any other appliance... we even cook dinner in it! It gets a lot of use, and is holding up very well. We've worn out Cuisinarts & Kitchen Aid toasters, but this one keeps going like a champ!

The price was the first attention getter, but once home the performance was really great. This bakeware is so durable and easy to clean. It cooks evenly and does not warp or flex under heat. I use it practically everytime I cook.!

We use this all the time. Our old toaster oven needed replacement & we wanted one with a convection oven. We're still amazed how little time is necessary to cook a chicken or roast using that feature. It's especially nice during the summer as we don't need to use our regular oven as much.
