Best Buy's Geek Squad is evidently the worst. I bought an Amana Washer & Dryer bundle on March 14th. They delivered them on March 27th. Upon them doing the installation, they wouldn't replace the new hoses I had to buy because they couldn't get the old hoses off and didn't want to break anything. I live in an upstairs apartment. During the night, water was leaking down the walls and into the apartment garage below me. I was reported. I called Best Buy Geek Squad and told them to just come pick the bundle back up. What do they do? Send out a second Geek Squad to repair and go over the installation. The second leader in their duo bragged about how he'd been doing washer installations for 34 years and the first crew should've changed the hoses. He said there was no problem for him to get them off. He said that the first crew just didn't want to do it and that they should've checked to make sure everything was operating fine before they left. I told him the first crew told me just to take the hoses with me whenever I moved in the future and that way I'd already have them. He tightened the faucets, too, he said. Then, he blamed them being loose on the apartment. Another two months go by and the washer will still not finish a complete cycle. After complaining to Best Buy again, I was naturally told by them that my 15 days to return it were up and I was left in Amana's hands. After Amana's rep from Appliance Care finally showed up on May 17th, come to find out the problem was that Best Buy's Mr. 34 Years Experience Geek Squad Braggart didn't turn the cold water faucet on to the washer all along!! It's an All Cold Water Rinse machine! Appliance Care's repairman showed me the best settings to use on the washer, ran a full test on it, and he was the best! Both professional and understanding while answering all of my questions. Best Buy's Geek Squad was all hit-and-run. They were truly the worst experience I've ever encountered at Best Buy.
