The delivery guys were awesome and professional. They made preparations not to scratch the floor or walls.

So the install was done incorrectly. The installers were courteous and spent a long time hauling a heavy front load washer and dryer up the stairs to the 2nd floor and hauling away the old ones. That's where the compliments end. The instructions indicate that the washer's shipping bolts remain on for pedestal attachment - they were removed, the washer was laid flat, and the brackets attached outdoors. The instructions indicate that the washer and dryer are to be laid on their back, the pedestals attached, feet added to the pedestals and then the appliances with pedestals attached are to be uprighted. This wasn't done - instead, they didn't add the feed to the pedestals, lifted the appliance over the pedestals, and dropped it into place (this took several attempts to line up the brackets). The instructions indicate that the screws are then to be used to secure the brackets between the washer and dryer - the front screws were attached, but not the rear. I was then handed a bag containing what the installers called "trash," which contained the pedestal feet and the tools to reverse the door hinge. Luckily, I kept it. I used the machines and they worked, but shook (likely because no feet were attached and they weren't leveled). I have since attached the feet myself and was going to level, but wanted to reverse the door hinge myself first. The tool supplied to reverse the door lock side on the GE Ultravent Washer broke in the lock, destroying both the tool and the door lock (as a note - I don't think this is the installers fault, just sharing it as another problem with this, overall). These 3rd party installers really didn't know what they were doing - I'm having Best Buy send a crew out to take a look at the door issue (after obtaining new parts from GE) and I hope they'll be better than the installers.
