Best Buy could not complete the washer install because the faucets needed replacement, a standing drain pipe needed to be installed, and the floor leveled. The landlord took care of the faucets, pipe, and we're still working on the leveling. So far the washer doesn't complete its cycles and I need Best Buy to determine if it is a bad unit. I emailed service/installation and haven't heard a reply. Please advise.

Installer did not flush the water lines as instructions specify. If they would have, they might have noticed that they had the hot and cold connection wrong! They did not level my washer either. You really need a special flattened wrench to adjust. Maybe the washer comes with one?

Unfortunately the washing machine came dented the first time. The team was nice though and got it changed. One week later they came back and everything went out well.

This is a review for the 2 people that came to my house to do the installation of the washing machine that I bought from Best Buy. OMS#1121151625638 and FMS#68610654 CREW ID; 728_38C I had the worst experience with the installers. They not only did damage the valve for connecting the washing machine (could not be installed) but also one of them was very disrespectful, and rude yelling at me when I told him nothing was broken before they came to my house. They left the washer and dryer outside in my porch with " pouring rain" did not put any covers before unloading the appliances from truck to the house. The most unprofessional and disrespectful installers I have ever experienced. Nobody has the right to b e disrespectful to another person, they came to my house to do a service and they were being paid. I am a client and deserve respect like anybody else. This was very stressful for me and my family. I cancelled the purchase with Best Buy. Order Number 1121151625638 Claim Number 21056535-1 I am requesting the reimburse of $204.00 I had to pay to a Plummer to fix the broken valve.

The installers came around 9 PM and were in a hurry to take out old washer and install new one. He pulled the hoses and got water all over the floor and I had to wipe it up with several towels. No explanation was given on how to run the machine and he did not level it. I asked how to operate the washer and he thrust the manual to me and said to read it.

A month or so following the installation we noticed that something was off. Clothes that are supposed to be washed on cold were coming out shrunk. Looked behind the machine and quickly realized that the hot/cold hoses were installed backwards. So about $500 worth of clothes are pretty much ruined. Will never buy from BestBuy again, lesson learned I guess, but never had this problem with Lowes or Home Depot

My installation was scheduled for December 1st, no one showed up received a text that they would arrive between 8am 12noon on the 1st. So me and my boyfriend came back into town early from spending time with our family in OH. To sit at the house all day and no one show up. We went up to the store to ask what happen with our delivery and installation. The manager on duty tells us, our sales person Kayron forgot to put us on the manifest for today and it's nothing he could do, we would need to speak to our sales person. We then went home and text our sales person and received no response until 1150pm that night. Stating he was working on it. We then had to take the next day off of work to go pick up the washer and dryer ourselves. We then had to wait in the store for 3 more hours for them to bring the washer and dryer up to the front of the store. All the manager did was say Sorry! This is unacceptable and a prime example of bad customer service! I have been a customer of best buy for over 10 years. This is the worst experience I have had with this company. I can honestly say I can never recommend to my friends, family and co workers that they should purchase major appliances from Best Buy ever again. It only takes one bad impression to leave a lasting impression.

I wasn't impressed with the installer team. Even a bit rude.

The deliver is on time. They gave me a call in previous day to confirm delivery. I also received drivers call 10 minutes before their arrival. But the unit was defective

We had to purchase new venting for the dryer and water lines for the washer. The installation crew was not allowed to modify the dryer venting so it was left with a big tight loop of venting hose jammed behind the dryer. It was a perfect lint catching plug...although the installer denied that it would be problematic. The venting tube was so bulky that the dryer had to sit out from the wall so far the door hit the countertop and couldn’t open completely. The washer drain hose was too short so the washer had to be left sitting in the middle of the room until we could buy another $20 worth of parts to patch an extension onto the drain hose. We paid for “installation” but got only delivery with ineffective hook up. We (both >70 years old) had modify both dryer venting and washer drain hose, then reposition both units, balance them and calibrate the washer per the manual.

The installers did a decent job. They hooked up the hose in properly but did not balance the machine adequately.

The installer left the washer knowing it was inoperable! However he stated that it was my outlet rather than the machine. I made a costly ($150) service call to the electrician to discover it was the unit and not my electricity! Secondly, he did not connect the refrigerator and stated that it was the incorrect valve. This also cost me a plumber service call ($75) to discover that it was the proper valve. The valve recommended by the technician, a copper one, would have voided my home warranty and is against the code of the MUD district. This is lack of knowledge and a disregard for the customer care. $225 later because it was something that should have been checked before delivery and knowledge that should have been known for this area of delivery. Not to mention the time and effort I lost having to leave work for the delivery and being without a washer for a week.

But this washer didn't work. The guy helping with installation tried it out and quickly called it in. It sounded like something was loose and it would not do the spin cycle.

Guys were fast and efficient but didn't tell me where to find model and serial number that I would need to fill out warranty. I took over 17 photos trying to get the number from the back of the machine. My daughter came and moved the machine out and then we found the sticker with the numbers on the side of the machine. A little more help from the installers would have been appreciated.

Don't know if it was installed correctly, or if it's the washer. Once finished washing, the drum and door stays wet. Never happened with my old washer. Called to report it, and when the technicians looked at it, they said it was normal for this kind of washer. One technician said to leave the door open, and the other said to wipe it with a towel.

They hooked it up quick and fast but they hooked it up wrong so I had to disconnect and reconnect it to the right waterlines

Used a pliers to install the hose. Tore up the metal edges so I cut my finger slightly when checking them. Good guys though.

We paid for the washing machine to get installed but the person who was supposed to install our washer wasn’t able to, saying something along the lines that it would’ve been a liability since we were missing something idk. Honestly, understood and that’s not the reason for the one star. I wish the installation person or the Best Buy representative they called to confirm with me that they weren’t able to do the installation told me that I HAD to CALL for the refund, rather than assume that they would just automatically refund you since THEY CAN’T install it… also a bit ridiculous that it has to be within 15 days???? Like I was waiting for my billing statement to come and check if I had been refunded.

I assumed deliver and hookup would include leveling but it did not, so washershimmys and moves around when spinning.

The Geek crew that installed my dishwasher and microwave were top notch! Efficient , careful and wonderful to deal with. Wiped everything down after install. Others were not so great.. the washer dryer install took almost as long as the DW+Micro! And they scratched the washer and used the cheep ( wrong) connections instead of stainless The Frig delivery team wasn’t much better. Clearly had no idea how to put the Frig together & left finger marks everywhere.
