Umm, seems like a simple and pretty basic thing: hot water goes to "hot" intake and cold water to "cold" intake. Apparently not so clear to the people Best Buy uses for installation. After getting multiple loads of clothing ruined by trying to wash them delicate in cold water, I decided to check that this trivial matter had been accomplished. And.. no.

We had our washer installed in October and the team who installed it failed to properly secure the drain line in our second floor laundry room. We have now have water damage in the ceiling of our kitchen and holes that we cut out to dry out before mold grew. Through all of this we've been caught up in an insurance void. Best Buy kicked us to another company and from there we've been bounced around 3 more times. We're now two and a half months in since the failed installation and there's no sign of when we'll get reimbursed for the thousands of dollars of damage to the house we *just* moved into. Absolute garbage - my recommendation is to have a professional you trust install your washer/dryer unless you want to be given the run-around when something goes wrong.

I wish I could put VERY poor. The installer must been in a hurry that day and I’m pretty sure I was the last customer of the day so he was ready to get home. He was prepping the hook ups for the washer and he broke a water valve and FLOODED my house! This happened on November 25th and I’m still trying to get everything fixed that was damaged. I know accidents happen but the way he handled it was VERY unprofessional. He broke it, asked me where the main water turn off was (which I didn’t know at the time because I had just moved in that day) and he just went and sat in the truck and got on social media. I was sitting in 3-4 inches of water in my laundry room with a cup and a bucket scooping up water! If you trust yourself to hook up everything just do it yourself!

The institution people where not knowledgeable of how to hook it up it took 3 different times 3 different sets of people to hook my washer up the last set were the best they got it working properly

I'm wondering why Best Buy uses a wrench and a screwdriver as the icon for "professional installation" of the washing machine I purchased when in fact the deliverymen simply set the washing machine in place and left the hoses on top of it. When I asked them if they would connect the hoses, the deliveryman said "Best Buy won't let us touch anything with a wrench." I connected the hoses myself and read the owner's manual to see how to level the machine. I suppose the $29.95 plus tax I paid just covered the costs of the hoses. Buyers might want to simply buy hoses from another store and save a few dollars. The deliverymen did arrive on time and they helped me remove my door from its hinges so that I could get the washing machine into my house.

My washer is on the second floor and for whatever reason, everyone I had talked to poorly communicated that we needed to have a washer tray installed before we have Best Buy installers come out. Two in home service calls, and one month later and a rep finally suggested bringing in a third party to clear everything up. Joe was great. Everyone else sucked.

Did not install after second time because of self over washer and dryer. you think they tell us after the first time they came out.

The installers would not use the new hoses I had because they were not steel wrapped. They did provide the hoses they required and hooked up the washer. They also would not install the new washer on my old pedestal, because the pedestal was over 30 days old, even though the sales associate at the Best Buy store said it would fit. They would not allow me to remove the old washer from my old pedestal, so that they could haul away the old washer. The old washer remains in my garage, even though I paid to have it removed. Nothing I read or was told previous to the installation indicated these requirement.

They came back to fix it after they installed the dryer door with hinges on the wrong side.

They wouldn't hook up washer, instead the installers decided to lie and tell me that i signed a form so that they wouldn't have to install it, the order was made over the phone so there was no form to sign, i complained about it and doubt that the installers suffered any repercussions from their actions, its not the first time that i dealt with these same installers snd that they decided to lie to me so that they wouldn't have to compete their jods, a company is only as strong as their feild agents are and if they decide to lie about something than they should suffer the consequences no matter what, there's to many people who are ready to eork without having to deal with liers

Disappointed. The washer leaked at the braided hoses they installed, on the very first load! The washer wasn’t properly balanced by the installers, either.

Machine was too loud when operating. The dryer was great though.

The guys were great but they said I'd need new hosing for length and I didn't so I had to return it

The installers were only able to do minimum install. I had my plumber come by to finish job.

It took more than a month to get this service. This unacceptBle, I paid for a service where many of the reps on the phone have no cĺue where to direct ypur xall. Need better trained petsonnel.

Was a yes trying to get this done. Now sure why but it was.

Contacted best buy on multiple occasions on an issue regarding installation of my new washer and dryer. Its been 2 months since the initial delivery. After 4 attempts to reach customer service, 1 in-store visit and days of anticipating when my waster and dryer can finally be hooked up, I've given up. It seems as though best buy does not care for its customers once a product is sold. What's the point of purchasing these installations if no one is going to actually do it?

The water was hooked up wrong. When ran a cold load, hot water came out. I was able to correct it myself but seems like something the installers should be trained on better. The machine itself is fine.
