Terrible experience. The company came out and was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I had to pay a plumber to come and install the washer and dryer. I needed to upgrade the gas line and no one ever said this to me in the store of what to look for in my new units. Very bad experience. Have used Best buy for years and never had one of their contracted groups be so unhelpful and rude. And the company said they would come back to get my old washer and dryer. I called them multiple times and they never returned my calls. I ended up having to pay to have my old washer and dryer picked up and hauled off.

You are better off asking a handy friend to help or even hiring a plumber than paying for this "installation" service. They delivery men were alleged to be qualified to install a refrigerator that has an incemaker and a water dispenser. But all the guys would agree to do was PLUG IN the refrigerator. They refused to connect the water line even though I had all the necessary accessories. I had to ask a friend to come over the following day to connect the water line. (The delivery men also were absolutely rude about having to walk up the three stairs to my front door.)

I bought a microwave and the contractor brought it and he decided he was not going to be able to install it because of an issue with the cabinet trim was going to be on the way of the microwave and he was not reliable for any damage. So he left, I called Best Buy and asked if they can send a better contractor and they rescheduled and waited three weeks and they sent the same inept guy. I was frustrated and requested to return the microwave and I will buy at Home Depot next time which they have better contractors.

Did most of the install myself. Installers tried to refuse service and tried to refuse taking the old washer. Installers said the weren’t comfortable with the work due to the valves on the hot and cold water being old.

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IT IS THE WORST INSTALLATION SERVICE SINCE MY PURCHASE I STILL CAN NOT INSTALL MY UNITS THE TECHNICIANS ARE LAZY DO NOT WANT TO WORK THEY TAKE THINGS SO THAT YOU COMMUNICATE AGAIN OR CANCEL THE APPOINTMENTS APROPOSITO OR THEY SAY THAT IT IS NOT WORTH THAT YOU MUST BUY SOMETHING ELSE AND SO TIME PASSES YOU CALL BEST BUY THEY WASH THEIR HANDS ONLY APOLOGIZE AND THERE IS EVERYTHING THEY OFFER YOU A CREDIT SO THAT YOU DON'T TALK BUT THAT DOESN'T JUSTIFY THE SERVICE, I PERSONALLY FEEL THAT BEST BUY IS THE WORST

Could not do the installation. First we didn't have the correct parts, and they don't carry any parts that I can buy off of them so I had to reschedule and go to best buy myself to figure out what parts I needed. Second time they came and STILL couldn't do it. It turns out I needed to connect 2 4ft gas hoses together to make an 8ft hose but that isn't covered under warranty. I had to hire a separate contractor independently to get in installed. All of this could have been avoided if someone had just come and taken a 10min assessment of the install before scheduling one.

Ok experience. Guys got my old washer out and the new one in. Got water everwhere from old machine. Only hooked up the water lines. Didnt ask where i wanted it, didnt level it, didnt even test it.

The delivery of the appliances was good... But the installers made excuses for not hooking up the washer. When I got there it was a simple adjustment to complete the the installation that I did myself.

Installation was good, but they were 3 hours late with no call...

My experience with Best Buy delivery has been very good in the past, but not this time. Best Buy installed washer on a cracked drain pan, Installer told us about the crack as he was leaving. Why did he proceed with the installation if the drain pan was cracked? What's the point of a cracked drain pan? We purchased a new drain pan at Home Depot (Best Buy doesn't carry) and will have washer re-installed on it. We are hoping Best Buy will reinstall at no cost, but that will take many many hours on the phone. Calling Best Buy is VERY DIFFICULT, even to make a purchase. It takes hours and hours of waiting, and if you get through, the call often gets dropped. ARG!

Delivery was good and came on schedule. The installation was inferior and not professional at all. Installers couldn’t speak english well, hard to understand. They didn’t level the machine or even try to see if it was level.

Unfortunately the installation guys came later then what was scheduled. But that was not the biggest problem. They were obviously very tired and had 2 more stops after me. They turned on the washer to show me it was working. Then they left. About 10 minutes later I had water pouring through my ceiling on the first floor. OMG! I immediately got buckets and towels. Then went upstairs to shut the machine off. I called the installer and he said he would be right there. When he did not arrive after 20 minutes I called him again. He had blocked my phone number. It was a disaster. At least Best Buy insurance company paid for all the repair and damage.

Best Buy Install Team is very poorly trained. They did not follow install instructions in owner's manual. This caused the water in the "J" trap to be siphoned out thus letting methane gas into the house. As a result, our plumber had to come fix their mistake. An escalation was done via Best Buy & also with the BBB. Do not buy from Best Buy.

Stay far away from Best Buy install. They failed to connect the drain hose from the washer to the drainpipe and then ran a cycle causing over $2500 in water damage to our home.

Service was not completed because they neglected to turn off the water before detaching the old washer's water lines, which got water EVERYWHERE. Our carpets are soaked and we had to bring in a water removal company. When the carpets are dry and mold is removed, we will hire another company to complete the installation. I called Best Buy to get the installation refunded but they put me on hold--I haven't had the time to sit on hold with them as I'm dealing with our insurance company for the water damage.

The hot water faucet would not shut off - required a plumber. Installers refused to return to install - spoke to dispatch person - very rude - had taken 2 days off from work for this -- had to pay my plumber extra to install the machine and haul away the old one. Very bad customer service.

Didn’t actually install or even let us have options and chat with theme. Came in. Said our water valve was rusty and bailed out of there before we could even say much or think.
