We waited a long time for our new home to be built. The purchase of our new washer and dryer included free installation in the deal. We scheduled the installation for the day after we closed. As we got close to the date, we were notified that you would deliver but would not install. We had to hire someone else to do the installation. We did not need to be next to the installer. I thought we both could have been safe.

The workers were completely impatient. From the moment they stepped foot into the home, they looked like they had somewhere else to be. They didn't fix the issue and left as quickly as they came.

This is really an average of 2 reviews. The first person was extraordinarily bad. He refused to hook up the machine and left without any signature. The machine originally delivered had to be returned as defective. The second person who delivered did a good job but insisted on charging us for removing the bad washer!

Terrible service. Did not install, balance nor even power the machine on. Not even installed the water fill attachments. Clamed it was under the sink drain set up so they refused to do anything. No effort at all. Shameful service. Luckily I’m handy and finished installing myself.

Installer could not unplug my dryer to complete install, so they stacked both washer and dryer and I completed install by connecting water lines and dryer duct

I spoke to the guy at the store to confirm that the service includes exhaust installation, that is including to open the hole for the exhaust pipe, but all the technician did is to connect the gas and electricity and test for functionality. I would have saved the money and install it myself if the service would have been that simple.

Asked for set to be arranged with doors opening toward each other. Did not do that. Installers did not install “y” splitter for steam option on dryer. Did not connect unit to pedestal with supplied hardware. You’re better off doing the install yourself once the units have been delivered and placed where you want them. Carrying/moving them is the hard part. The hookup is easy and the instructions are very clear.

Horrible customer service, missed appointments, took 4 attempts to get this delivered, missed 4 days if work, tons of excuses. Just horrible delivery experience.

They had to come out 3 times to install. First installer was afraid of spiders and had to leave. By the time they installed it was past the return date and we were stuck with this washer that has no soap dispenser! We hate this washer. Got Scammed.

I do not think this is Best Buy's fault, but it is the third party that they use to deliver the unit. I was having some construction done at my home, so the garage door was open; the driver called me to see if they could deliver EARLY than the scheduled time. I told him no, but he went to my house without permission and delivered it anyway. Installed it, but all of the accessories I ordered were missing. Hopefully no one has this kind of experience.

Bestbuy should reevaluate the company they use to install appliances. They rushed the install, lost the tie clip for the hose and didn't bother checking to see it they set my washer up correctly or whether it was balanced.

Pedestal under the washer initially installed incorrectly. Cold water hose leaked. It took four rescheduled visits before the issues were resolved. Thus four days where you had to be available from 7AM-7PM. Sadly you cannot talk to anyone directly in spite of being Total Tech members.

Do not buy an Insignia washer! And if they give you a time frame for delivery/installation …be home allllll day anyways because they will change the time and then 15 minutes before for they arrive, expect you to be there or have YOU reschedule to accommodate their route change. It’s ridiculous.

Two different BB teams (probably third-party company) installed two LG washers incorrectly resulting in the return of one to BB and the reinstallation of the second by me, after I called LG directly. In both cases, the installer put the washer drain hose two feet down the standing drain pipe. The correct depth for the hose is 4 inches. The return process was agony.

Techs didn't open water valves after installing. I spent an entire day trying to figure out why I kept getting a Lo Flo Error code every time I tried to run a cycle. I had to pull out the washer to discover one valve maybe quarter turn open and the 2nd valve completely shut. What a waste of my time trying to get it fixed and googling troubleshooting.

Mutt and Jeff arrived, put washer/dryer together plugged them in, said ok your good to go and left. Problem is they didn’t hook up the dryer vent, almost caused fire, then we came back in to laundry room and the entire room was flooded, they never took the water discharge line off the shipping posts so the water discharged onto the floor. We assumed they had done thier job, that was a big mistake! Not sure if we will ever buy anything from Best Buy again!

Delivery guys delivered my washer and dryer and refused to installed it claiming I didn’t pay for installation, I showed them my receipt it was on there but they said they made a call and because it wasn’t on there paperwork they couldn’t install, I ended up paying a handyman $200 for installation, I’m so disappointed in bestbuy.

Washer came broken. Was told they would bring a replacement and would let me know. It was never scheduled and I had to spend 30 minutes in the store trying to fix it. Reschedule to the wrong address in another state. We gave up and are having the washer and dryer returned. Worst appliance ecperience we have ever had.

The installers are not insured so be careful and keep an eye on them when they install
