This review is more about the installation than the product. This far the product has been great. I am very happy with it. The delivery and installation was a complete disaster. The delivery people ( a 3rd party contractor) didn't secure the water line drain hose in the sanitary tub. When the installers ran a test wash after installing it, it flooded my laundry room. At the time I was working form home up stairs. Instead of telling me the situation, they went and found a mop and bucket form my garage and tried to clean it up. I came down during this process and they admitted what had happened. The delivery was during the COVID-19 peak, and I was assured by Best Buy this would be a covid delivery and they wouldn't touch anything unnecessary or go in additional parts of my house.. Instead, I had delivery men going through my cleaning stuff, touching my house hold cleaning products, mop, bucket, towels, etc to try and clean up something without telling me. They did an average job at cleaning it up, I had a musty smell in my laundry room. My laundry room is on the main floor of my house, after they left, I found the basement was also flooded with the water. The LG product is great, but for anyone considering Best Buy for delivery or installation, look elsewhere. I'd like to point out I am a Best Buy Elite member (for each of the last 4 years) and purchase a lot from them every year. It pains me to say it, but look elsewhere when buying appliances.

I purchased my washer and dryer as a combo that included free delivery and free install of the washer. The salesman asked us to purchase a washer drain pan at the local hardware store so they could install it before installing the washer on top of it. When the date of our install arrived my wife took the day off work. When they got upstairs to our laundry room, they said they could not install the unit as we had not installed the drain pan. We were explicitly told to not install the drain pan ahead of time as they wanted to have it installed. As a result, the installers left our house without delivering the units nor installing them. We had to pay a plumber $150 to come out and install the drain pan, which we did the same day as the delivery, hoping the installers would stop by again the same day to install the units but they would not return our calls. While calling best buy support eventually led to us getting a refund for the $150 charge, we were not able to have the unit installed until the next week because that was the first available appointment. My wife and I were excited to have the unit finally installed... until we tried using the washer for the first time. The hoses they used burst on first use making water flow everywhere, thankfully we were in the room when it happened. I had to purchase an additional hose set from the hardware store and had a plumber come out again to repair the damage. I was not compensated for the broken hose set or the second plumber by best buy. Going forward, I will not use their washer and dryer delivery/install team as a result of this.
