Got my washer installed and it was hooked up correctly

Free Installation, Timely Service, Took great Care not to damage, floor, doorway, and dryer during installation. Made sure machine was balanced and tested operation.

I ordered the Samsung washer and dryer as a set from best buy online. The week before my scheduled delivery and install, I spoke with someone to confirm. Everything seemed fine. Day of delivery, they brought the the correct washer, but the wrong dryer (The set was mismatched in terms of color). Called customer service, and they couldn't get my correct dryer brought until the following week, so I scheduled another delivery. Day of delivery no. 2, and they bring the wrong dryer again. So I had to schedule yet another time. Delivery day no. 3, I call the customer service line to confirm my delivery, she tells me that it is scheduled to arrive in about 2 hours. 3 hours goes by, and no dryer. So I call, and she tells me that my delivery was cancelled. I was infuriated. Not only had they brought out the wrong dryer twice, but they cancelled my delivery for the third try, and I waited 2 weeks trying to get my washer. I cancelled my order, had them take the washer back too, and got a refund. Went elsewhere and had my correct washer and dryer installed within a week. I will NEVER order anything from Best Buy again. Their customer service has a language barrier that causes a lot more confusion than necessary. The customer gets the short end of the stick, even when they are spending $2,000 on a product. It's ridiculous. 1 star because I couldn't leave 0.

The installation and haul away were flawless. The team was fast, careful, efficient and very nice. I can only recommend them!

They were nice guys but they didn't do what was promised. They did hook up all of the hoses. However, they did NOT test the connections. They also did NOT level this. I had to spend about 30 minutes doing that myself. They did NOT do the basic testing that is listed in the description. Luckily, we not had any leaks but the soap dispenser slowly comes out as the washer runs. THis should not happen. Perhaps they would have found this if they tested it. Now, I am left to deal with this as well.

The installers were neat, careful, friendly, polite and quick. After the installation, one of the men explained how to use the washer and all the new features.

Have an elevated output for washer due to a septic tank/drainfield line connection for the washing machine in the basement. This particular LG horizontal washing machine came with an attached pipe internal to the frame. The washing machine therefore could not be connected to my existing pipe without additional hardware... as a result the installation crew did not fully test/cycle the washer before leaving. They did however protect the machine from damage and haul away the old one, hook up the lines, and assist with how to test ourselves. We were out of an operational washing machine for 2 weeks and this was a geek squad machine exchange to a new model (so the hose was not compatible with the prior vertical Samsung model), so we rolled the dice and it worked fine... after finishing it ourselves. The biggest issue here is that you're on the spot and either accept it as is or you have nothing. The crew was professional, courteous, and helpful - but the net result wasn't a fully installed machine.
