installer was personable, knowledgeable and helpful

Had a very simple delivery and install. Was removing a 7yo Electrolux front load washer that failed. Tech swore the fixed drain hose on new washer just wouldn’t reach the drain on the wall. Tech left with washer hooked up but pushed to the wrong side of room just so drain would reach. I was advised by tech to contact LG to come out and installer longer hose. Guy claimed this happened all the time. After much time spend on the phone with LG, it was determined this wasnt something they did or was a warranty claim and I should contact Best Buy to resolve. Best Buy on the phone advised me to buy a drain hose extension on my own from amazon, as they didn’t carry any, and reschedule the install. Spent close to two and a half hours on the phone trying to figure this out between LG and Best Buy. Reinstaller came yesterday without a clue of why he was at my home. After so much time on the phone with Best Buy on this topic, you’d think the rep could have at least written the two sentences the installer needed to know to make me feel like i was being listen too and be prepared for his job. They arrived 45 minutes past window of time given as well. After explaining what i what the last tech said the issue was, issue was resolved in literally in 5 minutes. Drain hose did reach! No extension needed, First tech’s assessment that the hose didn’t reach is unexplainable as it did with slack. Wasted hours of time resolvijng an issue created by Best Buy that didnt really even exist and now need to return extension to amazon at my expense.

The washing machine was installed and when first used it leaked and made a big mess . The installation crew did not tighten the clamps and flooded my basement .

I bought this March 15, 2022. After such a bad experience with Best Buy deliver, I have not bought anything from them since. I have had the washer and dryer over 2 years now and I have not stopped hating the washer. It does not get clothes clean on the first wash no matter what setting used. Not enough water! I had my old Frigidaire front loading washer for 25 years and I never had a problem with getting clothes clean or a mold smell. This one always smells and the clean cylce and everything else on the list to clean it is not easy and does not work. I will not buy LG again. My husbad has said I can buy something else and after today, I am going to take him up on his offer.
