Happy they could move the washer into place. They could not attach the new water pipe, which I had to do myself.

It came they put it where they were supposed to and they left. But they forgot to take out the hose bracket out the inside.

Heard that geek squad will provide good installation

Installers complained endlessly about access to condo, even though we provided a video of the steps and handicapped stair lift rail. After installers left, I ran a test cycle and there was water all over our brand new flooring in the laundry room. Called to complain and the same two installers were sent out even though we specifically requested two different installers. Installers first insisted that the water came from a dog bowl, which was impossible since the dog’s water bowl was in a different room. Next, installers stated that the water came from disconnected water hoses. Ok..,so why didn’t they wipe up our new floor?! You just leave water everywhere? In reality, it was a bad installation. We saw them fixing a problem. Then, they made a point to show us that they were videotaping that there was no problem. Yup, because we saw you fix something. Terrible experience. Having said that, we love the washer and dryer, our buying experience was excellent with Best Buy, we had a knowledgeable salesman who made everything easy, and we would definitely buy from Best Buy again. We would not recommend this particular installation team.

This review is for the washer installation service that was scheduled for 14 June 2021. The installation was done incorrectly and was not completed. When I called the lead "technician" who did the majority of the work, in order to point out the discrepancies, he said he'd call me back and let me know about rescheduling to correct the mistakes. He never called back. I contacted BestBuy customer service that same morning to inform them of the situation. I was told that the same team would return that same evening to correct and finish the installation. I even got an email confirmation for the re-work appointment. The team never showed up. I eventually ended up redoing the installation myself. The next day, I called the team's lead technician one last time to find out if there was some miscommunication that caused them to not return. I had to leave a voicemail, and I still never got a call back. Overall, the experience was terrible. The technicians were polite, but they failed horribly at the job they were sent to do and turned out to be very unprofessional by not returning calls and not returning to finish the job that they completely botched. Very disappointed.

When the person came into my home I bought the night before installation, he was standing in mud in front of my house (new construction neighborhood). He came in without shoe coverings or taking off his shoes, and tracked mud up my carpet stairs to the laundry room. I called and complained, and I’m still waiting for someone to “talk to the manager” in regards to this. When I called to complain, the first person said “what do you want him to do, come back and clean it?”. I said yes, or at least acknowledge it, rather than just saying “oops” when I bring it up to him.

Very professional team of delivery and installation!

Rating applies only to the poor scheduling experience. There were multiple last second cancellations and broken communications. Best Buy puts up barriers to their delivery vendors helping the customer when things on their end go wrong. Not reflected in the rating was the excellent service provided by the techs. They were efficient and courteous. After all the screw-ups getting the unit to my house, the techs were a pleasure.

Best Buy installed the washer in the correct room.

I think the title says it all. Need I say more. ??

I had the washer and dryer delivered but they would not install until I changed/updated the water line valves for the washer. I had to wait a week and when the installers came they assumed they were removing the old appliances and were not happy that they had to install the new ones. Also, the dryer was missing the electric cord. They installed the new appliances but shoved them off to the corner of the laundry room instead of centering them and then they left quickly before I could ask them to center the appliances.

I had a washer installed and they left parts in the drum and turned it on to get it. I spent a good long while clearing out paper from the filters, not a very good experience

Guys couldn't figure out how to turn off the water to hook up the hoses in the back of the washer so had to have a plumber come. He turned off the water at the street, used a wrench the installers didn't seem to have for some reason. The actual delivery and removal of the old washer were done efficiently and quickly though I did have to pay a plumber to finish the job.

I ordered the washing machine in the middle of March.We received a defective washing machine. After 2 weeks of notifying Best Buy they scheduled a replacement washing machine. Replaced on April 15, 2020. After using for a week the replacement started acting like the first defective washing machine. We notified Best Buy and were told the washing machine is supposed to rock violently, shake and make loud noise when in the spin cycle. So at this point we contacted LG and they set up a appointment For Sloan Appliance to look at washing machine. They determined that the shock was defective same problem as original washing machine. Today is July, 6 2020 and Sloan Appliance is waiting on parts to repair washing machine. Parts should arrive July 15, 2020 and then they will schedule appointment. So I am sure it will be August before we make a fully functional washing machine. A period of 4-5 months. So the moral to the story is I will never buy LG again in any form. Best Buy is useless in the warranty, integrity and customer service department. Not to mention not another dollar of mine will cross the Best Buy door. So do I expect a response from this review. I own a service company and would be totally embarrassed if we treated a customer this way. When you deal with incompetent people this is what you get.

Glad I didnt have to carry the washer down the steps

The washer’s water lines were installed backwards . The cold hose was connected to the hot port and vice versa.

The service for this item was great would buy again
