Repairman hooked my washer up backwards. It is hot runs cold, cold runs hot. The man didn't speak English we tried to explain, he didn't understand

First of all they just delivered the washer and left it in my family room w/o installing or hauling away the old unit and it took a whole week for them to come back and hook it up. They managed to hook up the new unit and haul away the old unit but they just hooked the new washer to the old hoses and left the new hoses for me as a souvenir.

The washer installation was not leveled and it resulted in a leak due to not tightening the faucets.

The installers were in a hurry. Disconnected the exciting washer and spilled the water in the hose all over the floor. They did not place the washer and dryer so the doors open away from each other. This was something I specifically instructed during the purchase and was promised by Best Buy. But I guess the installers are independent contractors and just wanted to do the basic hook up as quickly and run.

We got this washer after seeing the great reviews. The one we got did nothing but give us error codes. No washing could be done. To get this remedied was a nightmare even though it never worked. We tried to exchange it but it would have taken over a month to get a new one. So sad. We ended up returning it and buying the replacement at another store (not a Best Buy). I hope the washer lives up to the many other reviews. We will have to see.

Actually installed myself cause pedestal did not arrive same time as washer and dryer.

My washer was hooked up eitj the water holes switched causing all my laundry to rinse in HOT water. After seeking reconnect service the next crew was HORRIBLE didn't tell me they were gone just walked out and left my house open while I was in another room. POOR SERVICE!!

They never hooked up the hose for the steam settings on the dryer. I called the customer service to get assistance. Was told someone would reach out to set up a time to come out to complete the installation. Two weeks later, no call or contact.

The delivery was average.. It was delivered on time however, they didn't install it.. Since installation was "free" anyways, we didn't push it. The issue was that our washer wouldn't fit in the storage room where the hoses were and they didn't wanna deal with it although it really did.. we asked a relative to install it and he did it without any complications and was a piece of cake.. the dudes just seemed too lazy to even bother trying.

Average service for washer installation getting it ready to use

I wrote on the instructions sheet that my old washing machine was the lower member of a stacked unit. BB refused to install the new machine because the dryer was fueled by gas. After two weeks of back and forth the unit was redelivered, and my repair man smoothly effected the installation. No initiative on BB's part to make sure they could handle the install. OTH, the machine was delivered in good shape.

This is a great unit but the delivery guy ripped the plastic off haphazardly and it's impossible to remove the tiny pieces around the edges

They were very careful other then They should of stacked once it was in the house not before trying to bring in the house

Would give a zero if it was possible since I ended up having to install the product myself, (washing machine) that was after the professional installation team best buy sent to my home destroyed the switches on both hot and cold valves. This could have been addressed as a honest mistake, however, said team lied and claimed corrosion prevented them doing the work at all. Luckily for me, they also left one of the old hoses from my previous machine laying on the floor in a pool of water, so I had proof there wasn't an ounce of corrosion on the hose that had been connected. Suffice it to say, I would recommend self install, if that isn't possible its probably worth the money to hire outside help to do it for you. The machine I bought is amazing but I would never use best buy contracted installation again. Customer service did address this by crediting me about half the cost of repairs to my home, but even so I wouldn't use this service again.

Pretty good to have, but if you can turn a wrench yourself, no need to buy.

Installer lead was very rude. Told me to move out of the way instead of excuse me. Showed up at my house immediately telling me the washer would not fit when he never took it out of the box to see first. Told me that if he opened the box he couldn’t take it back. He called his supervisor I guess and was told to open the box and measure it. It did fit. I ordered it specifically to fit so I wasn’t going to accept that it wouldn’t fit. Then tried to tell me that he couldn’t take the old one out because of the hose. All that had to be done was to cut the hose. Left water all over the floor. I gave him towels to clean and he left the water.

Best Buy gave 6 hour window for them to come, they came after 8 1/2 hours. Two and half hours late

Installation was not completed as expected. Worker said that one of the old hoses was not able to be removed. We sprayed WD 40, but it did not loosen the connector. So, now I have one new hose and one old hose. I was told I would need to hire a plumber to remove the old hose. Actually, I thought that was supposed to be done by Best Buy installer :(

Best Buy crew installed my LG Washer and Dryer, and I couldn't be less pleased. They never leveled either appliance, so both sit unlevel and shake upon use, and now, my basement is flooded with water from above, because the washer was not installed correctly and leaked water everywhere.
