absolutely awful, tbe day of the install they showed up way too early and left everything outside and tolsy my boyfriend who just had surgery, he had to move it inside. i was livid when i found out. i went to the store and the employee said it wasnt his problem and scheduled the installation for two weeks later. the next time they tried saying they were at the house when my boyfriend was sitting outside the entire time, they were not. called their dispatch and they said the installation crew "was there but left to go to the bathroom". they were never there and i would never recommend a best buy install after this awful experience

would not install the new hose because it had a little rust on it. but had to buy the hoses to had the washer installed.

They did not install it. They told me the hose from the previous washer was too tight to get off and that I needed to hire a plumber. A couple days later my daughter and her family were visiting my home. My son in law, not a plumber, had a plumber's wrench in his truck. He was easily able to get the hose off and install the washer. Best Buy cannot have plumber's wrenches?

The tech would not install the washer because of a crack in the drain pipe. It would have been nice if he at least hooked up the hoses.

VERY DISAPPOINTED with Best Buy! Over 5 weeks to get a replacement washer delivered. 1st replacement didn't work, 2nd replacement was NOT installed correctly and flooded my basement with water. Finally the 3rd replacement worked and was installed correctly. After 6 weeks of trips to the laundry mat, a flooded basement and HOURS of frustrating phone calls, Best buy offered a $50 gift card in compensation. And I'm still waiting for communication from Best Buy regarding the water damage. SO DISAPPOINTED

Paid for washer and dryer set up, as well as the hardware required. Noticed moisture build up in the basement under the new washer and dryer. Found that the vent was not hooked up to the dryer, nor was there a clamp, or vent tape present (if there was would guess that it came off over time). Also noticed that the dryer did not have water hooked up to it for the steam setting.... if additional hardware was needed it was never brought to my attention. Extremely disappointed as I’ve always had great luck with Best Buy- but my first and only delivery was terrible. Would not recommend to anyone, now I have to assess the damage and have professionally cleaned and repaired...

They installed my washer but didnt balance it. The whole reason I paid to have it installed was to have it leveled correctly. Anybody can screw two hoses onto the washer and stick the drain down the standpipe.

Hot & Cold water hoses were reverse installed by the Best Buy " professional installers" . When I selected "Tap Cold" wash at the washer, it became HOT water wash..!

I bought the water hookup but it was unclear I also needed a stacking tool and a power cord, so it required multiple installation visits In addition, once installed after about 10 loads the drain pipe became detached from the wall because not installed correctly. This caused water damage to the floor and I had to pay a plumber to come fix.

If you pay for the installation service and when they get to your house they won’t put the hose on your sink cabinet. Best Buy seller won’t wanna explain to you about the installation. When the delivery come to your house they won’t work on the under the sink so be careful ask question first before you paying for the installation service.

Washer great installation horrible didn’t connect drain hose

Since the stacking drier was a different model they would not complete the installation. We only replaced the washer not the drier. They did lift the drier on top of the washer but that concluded their part of the installation.

They did not turn off water supply before trying to install the hoses to washer. Water was everywhere. Also washer was not leveled and the hose to empty the washer was not put in place. Pretty much had to install it myself!

Installer left the water hoses reversed (i.e. hot to cold and cold to hot) resulting in a repair call. Later found the hot water hose was defective (leaking) resulting in yet another repair call.

Was never told that the installation could not be done on a second floor! For reason of this product being over at least 300 lbs!

They installed the washer but left the film covering it

This is in regards to the washer installation. So I put in my first load and the water came flying out! Hey the faucet was broken! I went online to Geek Squad and the customer service people were hopeless. No understanding my problem. Both of the customer service people had no clue. So I called a plumber. A week later I was using my new washer. Very disappointing. Yeah, cost me $$$

Have purchased several appliances from Best Buy. EVERY time, the installer broke something in my house. In addition to disrupting the dryer vent, creating a sauna in the laundry room, the installer could not remove the door to the laundry room which a previous Best Buy installer when installing the dryer had made unremovable. (I had to have my handyman remove and reinstall the door so it would be removable in the future.) Past installation problems in addition to those already described. The refrigerator/freezer installer turned off the water to my kitchen and left it at half pressure. The dishwasher installer broke the drawer next to the dishwasher so the drawer will not close. Best Buy OK. Installers are not. Washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher. 100% poor.
