installation was very good the 2 gentlemen had this special strap that they used to remove the old washer and install the new washer took about 20 min and they were done no issues they also gave a brief demo of the washer functions.

Great installation service. Guys were very knowledgeable and remove the old unit and install the new in a very tight space.

The techs were very polite & did an excellent job installing my washer. They had to move my dryer to remove my old washer & install the new one, They put everything back in place.

Smooth delivery and installation。 the tech crew were professional. However. They took our old pedestal without asking. We were going to keep the old pedestal for other use.

They get 4 stars because the washing machine works great. They don't get 5 stars because they tracked dirt all over my clean white floors. No booties were worn.

It took two visits to get it right. The first installer said our connections were rusty and he would not connect them. I had to call a plumber that charge me $60 to tell me they were not rusty, they were just dirty, he wiped them off with a clorox wipe and said they were fine. Then the second installer came back and told me the first installer was lazy and should have done the work right the first time. I am not certain who I am reviewing - the first installer would get a one, the second a 5

I went to the best buy store in south Portland on a Monday morning in mid-November and purchased a washer-dryer combo with stacking kit and all the other parts needed so I wouldn’t have to do anything else to get this washer-dryer into my new apartment in Portland. They told me the earliest date to get it installed was December 1st - no problem. When December 1st came, I received a phone call from the delivery man calling to tell me he doesn’t have a stacking kit - which he thought was strange considering the kit was needed for it to be stacked. I assured him I paid for one and have the receipt of the purchase at my apartment. The delivery man from geek squad arrived with the washer-dryer, but no stacking kit. I then showed the receipt. They apologised and installed the washer and stored the dryer away and assured me I would receive a phone call the next day from their manager with help to resolve the issue. The next day came. No phone call received. I waited another 2 days with no luck. So I decided to go into the best buy store again with the paperwork. I explained this story to the host at the entrance, who then pointed me to the appliance section to explain the story a second time, who then pointed me to the assistant manager at the cashier to explain it a third time. By this point I was beginning to go crazy. They eventually helped me and said “oh yes, the man who sold you the washer dryer set is a nightmare, does this all the time” - well why has he still got a job? The assistant manager eventually gives me an installation date of December 26th. Almost a month after the original installation date. So I asked if I could have some compensation, as this was not our fault, but a fault of the company. He gave me $75 off the washing machine I had already bought. What a kind gesture, considering this purchase was more than $2k. He also gave me the stacking kit to take home, so all I needed was the man to come to the apartment to install the dryer on the 26th December, as well as assurance that if any available slot to install comes available before the 26th, we would be on the list - great. On the 20th December I received a phone call asking if installation of the dryer could be done on the 21st, between 8am-noon. I said yes, absolutely. The next day came and I waited, and waited, and waited at home until 1pm with no luck. I called best buy and they told me the installation had already taken place, where I see looking at my dryer-less closet, that the installation had not been completed. The lady on the phone told me the delivery driver will be there between 3pm-7pm. I told them I had been waiting all morning and had to leave for work in the afternoon so cannot guarantee I’ll be home - and to stick with the originally scheduled date of December 26th. Finally December 26th arrives. The big day. More excited for this day than Christmas. My new dryer. No more hanging wet clothes. The installers arrive and begin to take a look. They ask where my dryer vent tube is. I said to them I don’t know what they’re talking about. They said we cannot install it without this bit of equipment - which was purchased at the original visit to best buy and was not delivered. After going back and forth, the delivery man kindly drove from Portland to the best buy store to pick up a vent tube to then come back and install the dryer successfully. After what felt like a year of my life waiting for a dryer (probably the same amount of time it took you to read this review) I could finally dry my clothes. It only took two thousand dollars to be spent, 6 weeks, 2 visits to best buy, 3 explanations of my story, countless phone calls with best buy helpline, and 3 scheduled install dates, to finally get a working washer-dryer set to be fitted. I shall not be buying from “best-buy” again, as the compensation for this long-winded purchase was a mere $75. Pathetic from a company that regards themselves “best-buy”. Shocking. This review has been given 2 stars solely due to the fact the washer-dryer set is remarkable and faultless. Wish the same could’ve been said with my experience purchasing it from them.

My installer called before arriving, and was on time. He unloaded and installed my machine in no time at all, and then gave me a demo on how it worked. He was very knowledgeable about it. It did so much more than my old washer I was glad he could show me all it could do.

The two gentlemen who installed my washer/dryer were quick and careful. They cleaned up any mess and I was very happy with the overall delivery experience. They were on time and texted me when on their way to me.

They did a good job only thing we had to do was let them know when installing the pedistal the black rubber grommet they dropped two of them belonged between washer and pedistal. I retired from this work after 50 years and when I saw them in the truck k on the ground I mentioned it. The boy tried to tell me it was nothing to what I replied there are 4 and you have dropped 2. He loosened it and fixed it but if this is not done right the unit dies not have that bushing to help with sound and leveling. Might want to do a refresher on installation.

The installers were careful and installed the washer properly. However, the installer did not want to install the new washer on an existing base and said he was not permitted to do it. If I had purchased a new base, he would install it so this makes no sense to me. . I had asked the Best Buy representative this question specifically and he assured me they would install. Be warned.

Bought a month ago. Delivery and installation went as scheduled. Great job

The installation was a bit of a disaster. The first time, BB sent a big truck to my little street, and neighbors were unable to get to and from their properties. I also hadn't removed all of the built-in shelving that needed to be removed. I as told that BB would come back with a small truck. The second week, I arranged for the delivery to come in the afternoon. I was having a blood test when BB called, but I couldn't answer. As I was leaving the clinic about 9am, a neighbor called to say that BB was at my housie. Fortunately, I was a short walk away. The BB driver told me that deliveries with the small truck were generally made in the mornings. Apparently the delivery people who came in the big truck were not aware of that. And I got regular texts and emails from BB right up to the delivery time I'd selected, saying that BB was on the way! And the messages continued until I called to let BB know that the washer and dryer had been delivered and installed. Then the delivery men brought the washer into my house. The back of the washer is a little bit wider than the front, and wider than the door to the laundry room, and the washer wasn't going to fit at all. The men removed the pieces that hold the dryer in place and the machine ALMOST fit. I really was not interested in returning everything and starting over. Without the extra pieces the washer just about fit and the men were able to wiggle the washer thru the door, but not without gouging the paint. Because the machine is not as wide as the back, it easily fit in once the back part got thru. The dryer did not have the same size issues.

Over the service was outstanding with removal of old washer the new washer the hoses were put on backwards I only had hot water no warm or cold till I put the hoses where they was supposed to be after that everything was fine and I like the washer I am very satisfied.

Technologically up to date. Works quietly. Unlike my old washer, I can stop the machine and the computer doesn't rearrange the settings. Also, I can add extra water mid-cycle.

Installers did a great job. They were a bit late based on window the installation center gave us but it was only an hour.

I have never been so impressed with the professionalism, knowledge, and politeness of the two fellas that installed my new washer and dryer and removed my old washer and dryer. They new what they were doing. Thank you!
