Then when I turned on the washer for the first time it made a HORRIBLE racket. LOUD. I did some googling on installing a GE washer and discovered that there are 2 brackets on the back of the washer that needs to be removed. We pulled the washer out and the brackets were still there! Wow! We got them off, pushed the washer back in place and started it back up. QUIET as expected. You would think guys that install these all day, all month, all year would know how to do it correctly. Especially when the customer pays extra for the service.

Only issue: some water left in detergent bin

Geek squad couldn’t hook it up due to faucets needing replacement. I did have to have a plumber come out to replace them, & everything seems to be working fine; other than...there is some water left in detergent slot when cycle is done & drips into washer. Doesn’t seem like that should be happening.

Since we ordered a gray colored dryer, the white scuffs kind of stand out. We didnt return since we were in need of a new one right away. Other than that installation was fine and arrived earlier than anticipated.
