The tech and install guys did a good job installing the washer. Plus I caught this during the christmas time when installations were free.

I cannot believe the level of service was this crappy. It took three men to deliver the washer on a dolly, they scratched the wall (we literally just moved into this new build a week ago so that sucked, a LOT), making it into the laundry room, but didn’t place it down close enough to the wall so they pushed on it and made a horrifying screeching sound on the floor, multiple times. I have no idea if they removed the bolts and put on the button covers like as mentioned in the setup guide, but I assume they didn’t bc the sound against my tile sounded like metal grinding. They asked me, afterward, for windex to “prevent from scratching the floor,” but when I looked after they left, it was literally sprayed on the floor, without having wiped it away and hadn’t told me. I could have slipped and fell had not I paid attention. The main delivery guy told me I needed an extra hose connector for the steam function and I said I know, but hadn’t ordered it and he told me he might have some in the truck and that he would “take care of me, if I took care of his boys.” I had to clarify bc I had no idea wtf he meant by that. He said he purchases extra hoses and when customers don’t have it, he provides them free of charge and in exchange customers “take care of them” in the form of gratuity. I have no idea if this is an official policy or whatever with Best Buy, but that entire conversation was weird and felt shady. They told me I didn’t have enough outlets for my washer and asked for an extension cord (to which I googled later and found out that Samsung explicitly states on their site not to use an extension cord bc it’s dangerous). After the “installation” they set the washer to a quick cycle and bounced. I walked back into my laundry room to find my washer and my dryer pulled away from the wall and haphazardly left in random angles. My dryer, which they did not install (to my now greatest relief), was jutted at angle, pushed into the corner the counter of my utility sink. My husband and I now have to try to carefully turn the washer on its side to inspect if those bolts were taken off and see if they left the button covers, bc otherwise we’ll need to now purchase replacement pieces for, bc according to the Samsung website, those covers provide stability and safety, and without them, can cause serious damage to the unit. :( Hands down this was the worst service we have ever experienced. Save your hard earned money and figure out a way to install it yourself, bc Best Buy might send these dudes to your home too.
