Upon purchase, I was made aware that installer could have minimal additional fees based on setup. Minnesota updated plumbing codes in 2016 to require water arresters on all outlets so I those needed to be added. That along with a change to my gas line resulted in a $450 charge. As I stated, I was not able to handle these changes myself so went ahead and paid for it. Later that week, I did go to Best Buy and expressed my displeasure as when I agreed to minimal charges, I assumed maybe $100-200. The manager at the Oakdale Best Buy was great and offered to split the cost with me and refunded $225 of our purchase. Bottom line is the installers did do their job and do need to adhere to code so I can't blame them but the third party company and Best Buy should have a better way of communicating these issues to customers.
