I bought my washer and dryer last black friday Nov 25. Installation date Dec 6.-cancelled due to overbooking, called the evening of dec 5 to say they were overbooked and needed to cancel. Said I will get a $50 gift card in the mail for the inconvenience. I said I would rather get it installed as scheduled than get a gift card, the lady said it was not possible. I have yet to receive the gift card. 2nd apt- dec 10, installers got lost, called their boss but not me, installers delivered product back to store, would not come back after I called, said they were already too far back. I was extremely upset, given, my home is a new construction macys, ashleys, smith and noble were able to find my house. Macys got lost but called me for directions. I called the guy, the store and customer service, they could not help as there simply was no manpower. 3rd apt- dec 17, got cancelled due to ice and snow, called and said conditions to hazardous. 4th apt dec 19- found my house, discovered that my washer and dryer needed to be stacked, called ( I was not at home) to let me know that they do not have the stacking kit and that he was not told it was a stacked installation. Left the washer and dryer and would not go back to best buy to get the kit says it was not on his job order. I told him that all the equiptment needed was ordered and the lady at the store told me everything I needed for installation was ordered including hoses etc. He said it was unfortunate but he cannot do anything as he has a lot of installations to do that day due to the storm from previous week. Could not wait for me to speak with the best buy store to see if they can send someone to bring the stacking kit. I told him to wait at least 5 mins for me to reach a person, that my apt has been cancelled so many times but he said does not even have 5 mins to wait. Left product in my garage. I called best buy they found the kit somewhere in the store premises, said they spoke with the the installers, they will come back, pick it up from the store and come back to my house to install it. Boss installer called from their office said they could not come back will have to come back the following day as they have other installations to do. Came back the next day dec 20. 3 guys came, 2 to help the installer lift the washer n dryer. They were careful not to do damage, they put the unit in the pan that I previously bought, said that it pretty much useless as it will only catch a small amount of water in case it does leak. Which makes sense but at least there is some protection. He did not put the anti vibration pads because he said it will cause the washer and dryer unit to move in the pan. Overall installation process went pretty smoothly. Overall impression I got was that they were extremely understaffed, overbooked therefore could not careless about customer service/satisfaction. My advise do not buy on sales events unless you still have a working washer and dryer at home.

The two guys that looked like twins did a great job in setting it up. They did not say anything till they were done. I am glad we paid the extra to get someone else to set it up because it would've been a lot for my family and I.
