Never got to use them but they looked great!

No fault at all on the device, it's just that we opted to go with the external AC cable instead. After some research, we found out that the outdoor camera needed fulltime AC power to get the 24/7 video history and solar is basically a trickle charge. If you don't need that level of coverage then I would think this is the way to go.
