What really is there to say about a water filter. It fits the fridge correctly and there is no funny taste or smell to the water or ice cubes. We don't have problems with our water, just like to have it filtered. Also, I am not sure there is a way to have water and ice at the door without a filter. The price is usually the cheapest around, when you get a subscription.

We have purchased non-OEM filters and have had issues. The OEM filter installs and works perfectly. It is not that much more in cost than a knock off.

I've filtered a LOT of water in my life, but utilizing current technology, I was able to determine that the GE water filters (for select GE refrigerators mind you,) perfectly align water molecules. All atoms were perfectly aligned in alphabetical order which leads to a great H20 experience. In short. likely clean water goes in, clean water comes out.

We enjoy our refrigerator so much. The water and ice being filtered is a huge selling point for me. I love the fact that the fridge tells you when the filter needs to be changed. I was very concerned about the ease of replacement when it came time to change the filter. But this was sooo simple and so fast, it could not have been easier. And with the price match that the Best Buy sales guys helped me find, and the rewards coupons I had... we got it really inexpensively. I could not have been happier!
