It seems to to do what it was intended to do. The water tastes good.

For LG products, and other brands for that matter, it is very important to maintain the water filter in those units that dispense water and ice through tubing, etc. This is a simple way to stay current and safe and following manufacturer's reccomendations usually is good..............

I use the water/ice dispenser all the time in my LG and this filter is simple to use and replace. The refrigerator tracks my replacement and alerts me to the need for a new filter. Occasionally, it is hard to get the old filter off.

It was very easy to go over to Best Buy to pick up the filter. It was much easier than ordering it online from the manufacture. The installation was easy and I like the fact that if something had gone wrong, Best Buy is close by and it would have been easy to exchange it.

This filter does what it is supposed to do. I have always thought it was too expensive and still think that but it is necessary to operate the water and ice dispencing features. This purchase was made with the 15% off sale, hooray, so I am happy with the price this time.

Filter is easy to install and I really like the automatic refill program. It is easy, efficient, excellent value and keeps the water constantly filtered. We were very inconsistent with our last refrigerator. I am grateful for this program. Thank you!

A water filter is essential in our community, without it the water has a strong chlorine taste. This one installs easily and we really notice a difference in the taste of the water when it runs out. Also I believe it extends the life of the ice maker, as we have extremely hard water, and I have had to replace ice makers on other refrigerators in the past when I have not had a water filter. My LG refrigerator is over 2 years old and I have had no problems with quantity or quality of ice. The only downside is the expense - we drink a lot of water so it seems I'm replacing it frequently, but I feel it is worth the price.

Thanks to a store employee I actually found the right one and was able to install it within about ten minutes when I got home. It wouldn't have taken that long but I was trying to make sure the connection was just right. So far so good with the filter. Worth the cost.

I needed to replace the water filter for my LG refrigerator. I tried an off brand and it didn't work at all. When I came to the store to get the brand replacement, the staff were very helpful to make sure I got the right product. It works great!

Walter filter was recommended by the maker of my LG refrigerated. It was easy to install and it fits my fridge perfectly. The air filter also fit great and was also recommended by manufacturer for my LG fridge. The printer cartridge was the correct one.

Must have this item to filter the water on our refrigerator, however, it really slowed down the flow of water and it's quite an expensive item needing to be replaced every six months. That's $100 per year. Should last a year, minimum. A coupon now and then would be very helpful. Product is fine, cost and necessity, not so much.

This is the water filter required for my LG refrigerator. It is easy to install and seems to work fine. It is a little pricey if you actually replaced it every 3-6 months as suggested by the manufacturer.

To keep getting cold water that tastes good out of your LG refrigerator, remember that the water filter does need to be changed periodically. I love the cold water that is delivered out of our new LG refrigerator.

Yep it does what it says it's going to do, filters my water and does a great job. Moved to a new neighborhood and the water stinks due to stagnat water in the lines from not enough people using it. This filter takes the funk out of the water
