    We purchased an LG Refrigerator in 7-2016, an per information manual the light came on on outside door indicating time to replace water filter. This was approximately 6 months from purchase. Filter was replaced after purchase from our local Best Buy Store. The water has a fresh taste & the convenience of purchasing replacement filter at local Best Buy was greatly appreciated

    Does the trick. Easy to install. Just run a couple gallons through it after installation before using for drinking water.
