Have tried generic water filters for my LG refrigerator but does not compare to the original. My family notices the difference in taste and clarity of the water. I will always buy LG manufactured water filters from now on. Best Buy had the most competitive price for the filter. Best Buy is where i also bought the refrigerator.

Filters wonderfully and is very easy to install...

If you have an icemaker/water source, you must have a filter. Happy & relieved when we bought our new Samsung and the filter was in the refrigerator and not under the sink. So easy, only drawback is having to use so much water to clear the filter. Time to water the plants.

Easy to replace and install with enclosed instructions. Very satisfied with performance.

This filter does a wonderful job of making our tap water as good as filtered waters you would buy. It also provides water to the ice maker, therefore our drinks taste as they are supposed to taste (no tap water after taste). We also use traditional ice trays to make spare ice. When we do, we use the filtered water through this system.

This is a good filter that does exactly what it's suppose to do. In my opinion, it is a little expensive and I would like the water pressure to be higher but that could be the fridge and not the filter. Overall, I would recommend this product.

The LG filters are great compared to the off band at the hardware stores. It only took one time to realize the others don’t match up. The LG filters get odd taste out of the water when the others couldn’t. Yes, they’re pricey but I use a rewards coupon to offset the cost.

Clean and good tasting water is very important for my family. The filter does a great job of providing what we want. It is easy to install. The only fault that I can find is the price which is a ad high.

I purchased this water filter cartridge for my LG refrigerator Model LFX29927ST/03 as recommended. My ex tried the Aqua Fresh WF700 but the taste of the filtered water changed, so I'm not sure it was working right. It's pricey, but it works. Easy to install, and remove.
