    Filter is used to replace my existing filter. I can get more than the 6 months recommended on the fridge, however the price seems a little high. The cost of filtered ice cubes is worth it though.

    Works fine. I have used this filter for over 5 years, replacing every 6 months. Once, the new filter was cracked and leaked all over the fridge. This was an isolated problem, and has never occurred again.

    I've been using this same filter since we bought our refrigerator 5 years ago. It's easy to install. Only drawback is having to go through about a gallon of water to flush out the filter before you can drink the first cup
