This is a great product and I'm glad your store carries it so I can easily find it when it's time to be replaced. I don't like the price of $50 but maybe it will go down in the future.

I can count on the fact that Best Buy has these filters in stock. I can get these filters anywhere, so the dependability of Best Buy is what sets it apart from everyone else.

Some LG refrigerators include a water filter--great option and worth paying extra for a fridge with this feature. Each filter lasts six months.

Great LG replacement filter for my LG refrigerator. They suggest to use for 6 months but in fact it goes beyond 6 months.

This filter keeps the water nice and fresh and the ice crystal clear. There are no strange odors or taste.

I needed a new filter for my LG refrigerator and they are hard to find but lucky I can still find them at Best Buy. The price have increased on them within the last few years though.

In the not too distant past filters were absent on refrigerators but with the newer models they've become prevalent as a way, it seems, of manufacturers insuring that you continue to spend with them. Whether you use it frequently or not the warning replacement light indicates it's time to replace it after a certain amount of time has expired. I suppose you have to have this but it seems that a cardboard cartridge inside the filter cartridge would be a cheaper alternative, in lieu of the expensive metal cartridge..

It's a water filter...it filters water...so if you need water filtered, well, it does that.

I wish they weren't so expensive! You have to change the filter every 6 months or so . I'm glad they sell them at the store. Very convenient when I need it.

This product works well, just note that if you don't replace it by the recommended time frame, the water comes out super slow from the fridge.
