Although I was given a demonstration about the installation, NO ONE told me to turn off the water intake! So a reminder to all - make sure when you install the filter that you can pull the appliance out and turn off the water first! Otherwise the product install is quite easy!

The first few glasses of water did not taste so great so you may want to run the water through the new filter for a few gallons. After that it works excellent though!

The only drawback is that it recommends running 3 gallons of water through the filter prior to letting it rest (to remove bubbles and any possible manufacturing residue)
