It serves its purpose, but sometimes the water is just slow coming out even before the filter is near done. So this isn't a factor of the filter, just the way the refrigerator is built.

Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the price is so high for a throw away in 6 months item. Cost is $50 before tax so that breaks down to $100+ a year or $300+ in 3 years or $500+ in 5 years...for filters.
