Easy to install the Samsung water filter in my refrigerator. The price is $50. Best Buy ordered the Samsung filter for me.

This filter just makes the water cleaner and fresher.No need for any other filter. Try it for coffee or tea and you will notice the difference .

The length between changes will of course depend on your in-coming water quality and useage. What ever you do, do NOT buy the "generic replacement" from places such as home depot or other discounters; stick with the name brand product.

The filter is just fine. I've had many of them over five years of the refrigerator from Samsung. After about two years with a Samsung refrigerator, it started to leak. The ice maker broke next because it's made of PLASTIC (freezing and plastic don't last). Then it started to leak into the freezer. Doh! I contacted fix it people and the vendor. Basically I have to buy a new refrigerator as Samsung's are known to fall apart after 2 years. The fix it mechanics said the refrigerator wasn't even worth fixing after 2 year. Buyer beware - If you buy a Samsung refrigerator. Know you will be replacing it after 2 years or be like me cleaning up water and plastic peaces all the time. Friggin Samsung.

I wasn't expecting much from the filtered water dispenser in my new frig. This one, however, really does its job! The water tastes as good as bottled water.

I had no choice but to get this filter bc it was made for the fridge I purchased. But, the water and ice taste fine. Its better then using tap water....

This makes my water taste fresh and clean with every use. Definitely a difference between filtered water and tap water.
